Hi
Dh has credit card with MBNA, which initially he took out with Bank of Scotland - today got list of charges from MBNA (not the statements I requested) all charges are for £12 - which I am not sure I can reclaim - any opinions - please
However my main issue is that they have only sent charges from 2006, which is when they took over from BoS i think - does anyone have address for BoS or had a similiar issue, i.e. cc bought over by another compay - I would have thought they bought over all exisitn client details - previous statements etc too.
If anyone has any experience of this, what to do about £12 charges or indeed just addy of BoS I would very much appreciate it.
Thanks
RMC

Hi can anyone help me this is my first ever post so be gentle. I have just stumbled across this and have dug out my recent credit report I have been over the limit with Barclaycard 27 times between may 2003 and Jan 2006 according to my report could anyone tell me what they charged per time so i can look into how much I may be entitled to. Thanks for any help.0

you need to look at the credit card charge reclaim article. The first step is to send the letter to them asking for your statements for the past 6 years. The statements will tell you their charges.
Hope this helps

I have wrote to Littlewoods regarding account charges, after receiving a typical 'we believe are charges are lawful' I went to the Financial Ombudsman.
They wrote to me this week stating that Littlewoods have not submitted their final response but would do so within 14 days.
This morning I received a letter from Littlewoods stating that their charges are fair and justifiable !
Now the bit in the letter I don't understand is that because my complaint is in relation to an event before 6th April 07, I am unable to refer my complaint to FOS as they are not a member of a Dispute Resolution Service until this date.
Is this true or are they trying it on ? We have loads of problems with Littlewoods including them not letting us cancel insurance on the account !
Has anyone else been in the same situation or offer any advise ?Lightbulb moment: 19 May 2008 !!Total debt May 2008: £24,220 Debt free date: Jul 2013DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 196Proud to be dealing with our debts0 -

I am currently sick and receiving a large monthly payment towards my HSBC credit card balance. I think I was probably mis-sold the PPI policy years ago. If I put a claim in for mis-selling does anyone know if I have a leg to stand on since they are now paying out on this policy.
Thanks in advance0
