    Just read your post happy kitties, I really hope day 2 has been better for your daughter.. x
    Well, we didn't head to supermarket as planned but I walked to b+M on my way back from voluntary session and they had Mogs preferred food for a penny cheaper than supermarket and we didn't have to drive nearly 6miles and use fuel to get there.. So I'm taking that as a good financial decision for the day... Made some arrabiatta sauce for with tea and froze 2 portions for next week... Onwards and upwards.. Spend day tomorrow but that's budgeted for and cash put to one side already...

    Hope it isn't going to have any long term effect on her sports, HappyKitties, and hope I didn't put the mockers on it for you by saying I hoped she was being a good patient!

  • Evening everyone :hello:
    I've had a good day in terms of relaxing but not that productive to be fair. Ah well. I also didn't get round to going out or anything, nor did I get a nap. I am absolutely shattered, but we're going out again tomorrow so I'll be off to bed soon hopefully for a sound sleep.

    [STRIKE];) minimal housework (dishes, washing, hoover)[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE];) catch up on here[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE];) exam marking[/STRIKE] I'm thrilled because this is almost finished way ahead of schedule.
    [STRIKE];) get up to date with my current CAL and swap it with another one that I need to finish off[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE];) watch a film that I got for free :D[/STRIKE] Sully - it was brilliant!
    ;) nap if I need to nope
    ;) make a vet appointment - 2 cats need injections nope
    ;) if I feel like going out then pop to Mr A as I have the last of the school uniform to collect from there (ordered online) nope
    :p

    Did do a couple of other boring bits - washed the living room blinds. I know I need new ones but I have no idea how much it will cost to have them fitted and I've spent a fortune so far this holiday. :o:(
  • Morning :) looks like I'm not going to work today! My toothache is at an all time low and I need a dentist appt stat! Just hope my phobia understanding dentist has some availability.

    I will need to go into the office in my town and send a handover email as I am on leave from Monday. No doubt I'll be in more trouble when I go back to work....

    Not much else going to be going on I think so at least that will be dfw after the cost of the work....

    Will aim to:

    * do a load of washing and hang up
    * water greenhouse veggies
    * might nip to the allotment and pick anything ready. Really need to get my raspberries covered before they start going red and the birds swoop in
    * make madam's lunch. Beans on toast again! (we are really at the tail end of the month's groceries and I've been holding off till the next week when my new month's cc statement starts
    * depending on how I feel after dental work I might do a shopping list/meal plan - so annoying I have 2 freezers full of stuff but not much to make meals!
    * watch a film/read a book and generally recuperate
    * take up dress for tomorrow's wedding
    * make courgette curry

    that'll do! Have a great day guys x

    Aiming for NSD3 here today, I technically am spending but it's a planned Friday-class spend so I'm going to allow that-im 2p short for my fee so need to find that somewhere before I set off!
    Just got tea out of freezer-Chipotle chilli, going to do it with wedges, corn on cob and mac-cheese fingers..
    Tried to gather together a wash load but nowhere near so going to leave that for today..
    No eggs yesterday so down to about 4 in cupboard, hoping for at least one today..
    Hope everyone has a good day x

    Hi guys :wave:

    Take it easy Zigster :A

    I had brekkie from home and dinner will be from stores too but I need to get lunch today. Will use my pre-loaded card (7.5% discount) so not spending real cash. :p

    Need to take a dress back that doesn’t fit. Hopefully I can swap it for a smaller size as I’ve been looking for a denim dress for ages and this one was £55 down to £16.50. :D

    Off to yoga tonight – good for the soul. :A

    I’ve decided to start up job#2 again. Need to make some decisions around that at the weekend – venue, pricing, update website, advertise etc.

    PAD to cc :T

    Free tea and mints (randomly) in work today :cool:

    Checked banking/YNAB :A

    Was a bit annoyed last night – OH and I went to the local pub for dinner. We decided to have a starter each (complete waste of money and not very nice) and then I couldn’t even finish my main. Got more annoyed when there was no ‘doggy bag’ option/tubs etc. so I was a bit peeved when I saw the bill (probably about £15 we could’ve shaved off…). Oh well, will know for next time. :(

    DNMS, try putting some of the toothpaste specifically for sensitive teeth onto the offending tooth neat (a dentist told me this when I had raging toothache and was going on holiday the next day.) The very fist time is a killer but keep doing it and eventually it completely deadens the pain. I used C0lgate pro plus, if you are passing your dentist they often have a bowl of free samples.

    La E, I have just bought a cheap plastic container to leave in my car specifically for leftovers, I hate sending anything back to be binned!
