Morning all
Welcome Narola1976
Pleased to hear things have turned a corner, DNMS
Ziggy, take care, hope you are better soon
Random list for me today:
Sort out items for sales unit
Hope to line dry washing, but the weather doesn't look promising so far
Pick any garden produce that is ready
Find instructions for fitting GD's car seat in new (to us) car
Need to finalise list and do a shop, won't be a big one
Minimal cooking - I made roasted tomato sauce yesterday and we will have that with pasta, grated cheese and salad for dinner
Might however make a quiche, as I have loads of eggs...
Find some more big pots and sow more salad leaves, they might grow now it isn't so hot!
Look out the items we bought a few years ago for a trip to France, to lend to DS and his GF. You need lots of things in your car by law to drive there, we never used them, needless to say!
Look for surveys
RM surveys tasks
Dog walk later
There will probably be more, but will see how I get on with that to start with!0 -
Hi Ziggy, what competitions are worth doing? And which just fill your inbox with spam?
Hi Dizzy, as you can see, Ziggy has just posted that she is quite ill and down at the moment so I will answer for her.
I think the dedicated compers have a separate email address and there is a comps forum on here where you should be able to find out the best ones to enter.
In my experience it's worth writing to letters/tips pages of magazines/sending in pics etc as they don't receive nearly as many entries as you'd think.Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100 -
Morning everyone on this raining day. Hope everyone is well.
Welcome Narola1976!I also wfh majority of the time so am grateful for the savings on the petrol, clothes and potential lunches out.
Didn't sleep very well last night, hardly any deep sleep
Anyway, today's list comprises of:
* Check banking - done
* Update next month Standing Orders and increase payments to creditors. Fingers crossed I'm going to try and 'snowball' my debts so I can clear them quicker
* Need to get some washing on but will have to dry on electric low cost stand dryer
* Workout later at home
* Rummage around and fill charity bag that's come through the door and probably fill it with kids old school uniforms
* Send DH out to get some top up shopping bits from Sainsbury's
* Send my final meter readings to current supplier as have switched over to a cheaper supplier. Hope I get some money back!
* All meals from home. I made a batch of Butternut squash & Quinoa chilli last night so will have that for lunch today. Rest is divided up and will eat later this week or put in freezer for another time
That's it. Have a wonderful day!0 -
Hi everyone
Glad you’re feeling better today DNMS – that’s great to hear that your anxiety has passed. Defo get back on the meditations.
I spent around £50 before I came to work this morning!! Needed a new kitchen bin and a new travel card. ‘spensive ol’ day…
Didn’t buy a breakfast pastry  (victory dance…)
HM lunch – home-grown salad w/ leftover pizza slice
Checked banking/updated YNAB :A
Not shopping on lunch
Going out for a drink at lunch – pal’s turn to pay
Lots of walking – free exercise
Free choccies and tea in work
OH is working job #3 tonight
I need to start thinking about job #2 and whether I want to pick it back up – got some enquiries I need to respond to… A hassle I could do without right now but then I quite miss it sometimes… :think:0 -

Good Evening All
Dizzyblnd - FVD has given you some great advice. I tend to take a look at the comp board on MSE as well as entering quite a few on Facebook and Twitter. The best advice I could give would to be make a list of what you'd like to win and then enter comps for relevant prizes but some people enter anything and everything.
Today I/we have:
Bought majority of DS's uniform (just shoes left to get)
DS traded 2 old games to get another
Checked Bank & made PAD
RM Surveys
Entered a few comps
All meals from cupboards/fridge/freezer
Checked: Luckyphone, Ashleigh, Numberplatelotto, FPL

Hope you're feeling better Ziggy and the meds do their stuff. Take care of yourself.
I didn't get chance to post yesterday. Thanks for the reply on the blackberries determined and that a weight has been lifted, hope it stays that way.
I'm not able to sleep so going to post Thursdays list now as I might not get chance in the morning, when I'm likely to be hitting snooze 1 too many times
Check banking, surveys and FPL
Make jam with blackberries, including wine ones
Label blackberry liqueur
Pick up free gift from uniform shop
Returns to n£xt
Pick up cat food and gelatine from supermarket
Do some more on wardrobe
Home eyebrow shape
Possibly dye my hair - same shade, bit of grey coveragehowever, it's my first time  and I have a wedding at the weekend and worried I'm going to hash it up. Will see if I have time and hold my nerve
Washing out on line now weather has improved
WFH so no childcare costs for 1 small
Check fridge for anything that needs using
Meal plan for next week, should be a small shop, which I won't need to do until next week and will string out as long as I can.
Right off to try and get some snoozles.0 -

* make up lunches - madam is having cheesy beans on toast, hg strawberries and a ys donut, I'm having lo potato & squash bake, oh can fend for himself!
* make note of mileage
* work efficiently so as not to make tomorrow too stressful! (last day before leave and I'm due to finish 2.5hrs early to claim back some of the hours and hours I'm owed)
* take up dress - wedding is on Saturday!
* grab something out of freezer for oh to go with dinner - courgette curry
* iron and photo 2 more things then list all 6 items on fleabay tonight
