    Hello everyone :hello:

Sorry, been on and off here recently. Got to get back into the swing of things starting this week and tighten up purse strings.

    Today I've:

    * Been into the office and took a home made chicken and quinoa salad with me and a bottle of water
    * Had to fill up the car with petrol on the way so £20 spend
    * After work popped into Sainsbury's for some top up bits spent £9
    * Updated payments spreadsheet
    * Checked banking
    * £2 in the savings pot
    * Decided probably won't get our bedroom decorated this year, going to cost too much. Will save and put away for next year

Hoping for more MSE ways this week...

    Have a good evening!

    Evening everyone
I have been absolutely bonkers busy with a big sports event on the weekend.
Didn't get back till midnight last night, by the time I had sorted out the cats, had a cuppa and had a wind down I was in bed for 1.30am hoping for a lie in. Today I had penciled in nothing but recovery.
Our kitten had other ideas and had me up at 6.30am.
Minimal jobs done, I went out aswell to pick some parcels up and some cat food shopping-had a voucher and saved £3.
Have been trying to keep control of spends, really, really need to update my spends book.
Did plan to make up a flask while at the sporting event, but by the time everyone was back at the accommodation, and back up for breakfast you were just wrecked and I just couldn't be bothered. was pleased I could of ended up spending a lot in the cafe, spent £7 altogether which will come out of treat budget.
Read back for a catch up, sending hugs DNMS, I hope everything goes okay.
Well thats it from me, DD has an operation tomorrow, have to be at the hospital for 7.30am so a mega early night in store
Have a good evening everyone x

    Evening all :)
Hope your DD is ok after her operation tomorrow, Happy Kitties :(

Got back this afternoon from a nice weekend away :) We camped and took plenty of food, so not much spent. Caught up with some family members I rarely see, which was nice, and spent this morning on the beach, which was lovely if windy and cold. The dog loved it, he hadn't been to the beach before (we live quite a long way from the sea, sadly). He even ran into the incoming tide and got his legs and undercarriage wet, though his expression said quite clearly that he would not have done so had he known it would be quite so cold and wet :rotfl:

Anyway, back now, and loads to do. I am pretty shattered and heading off for a bath and bed in a minute, but have:
Unloaded unwanted stuff from camper van and put most of it away
Load of washing in the machine
Finished off leftovers for dinner - we seem to have eaten lots today, so didn't need much
Tied up a tomato plant outside the back door which had collapsed due to the weight of tomatoes - picked one ripe one!
Picked half a cereal bowl of yellow raspberries and froze them
Walked dog - he was too tired to go far, which was lucky, as so was I!
Not much, but have ambitions for tomorrow!

    Seventh Anniversary
Hi, first time here but starting from today, I'm going to: -
-get some batch cooking done, chilli and also some pasta sauce hoping for 6-8 portions of each, along with a massive curry I portioned up & froze yesterday that will be 3 meals taken care of for next 3 weeks
    - get 2 loads washing done and dry outside or make use of woodburner overnight when we've gone to bed to finish drying off... Stays warm for hours after we go to bed, but it's only on if it's cold- only been lit twice in last month..
-Loose change 20p- and under in my chicken for library fees when I order books in
-follow meal plan for rest of week, it's there cos it works not cos it looks pretty on fridge and I need to remember that! :)
-fingers crossed the chickens continue laying this week, started with 14 eggs this week, 10 left after tea :)
Good luck everyone, here's hoping for a good week!

Forgot to say yesterday, completion certificate came for IVA, I cant believe that's it, its all over.
still hasn't really sunk in, and not really saved any monies that I was paying into it as I have been buying things for operation back bedroom and Prague.......but at least i'm not putting it on the credit card-what a difference.
have a great day everyone x

    Morning :)

HK hope everything goes well with dd's op today x

Dawn your camper van is paying for itself already :)

La E & Perps I vaguely remember that but there was the option of keeping the old style which I preferred :)

Jeez I'm really suffering from anxiety at the moment. It's horrible, just a constant feeling of something being wrong in my stomach. Things have got better at work but I still have to have the meeting with my manager and my senior on Thursday from when I lost it on my manager and shouted at her :( on top of stuff with dd. Hopefully the meeting will be ok and then I can put this chapter behind me.... Might do a meditation later to try to ease the anxiety...

Given that going to take things easy today

    * load of washing - hang out until after lunch when rain is due
[STRIKE]* make plum jam using 2kgs plums got given yesterday :)[/STRIKE] 3 regular & 3 small jars made for the grand cost of less than £1 (excluding gas to cook)
    * portion up and freeze rhubarb given on Sunday and stewed yestrday :)
    * [STRIKE]make some roasted tom sauce[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]dig out and sterilise jam jars for the above[/STRIKE]
    * take madam to local wildlife park using membership card
    * thinking about popping in to town to pick up a xmas gift from boots ordered online. But might save that for tomorrow
    * dinner will be meal plan from Sunday which I still haven't made!
    * [STRIKE]get dressed in a minute and go to the lottie for an hour before oh goes to work[/STRIKE]
    * just agreed with madam we'll bake some cookies later

Ok that'll do. Happy Tuesday guys x

    Morning all :coffee:
Today looks as though it's going to be an indoors day. Rain forecast for most of the day. I am basking in the glory of my newly cleaned house. The cleaner is like a revelation - the house looks amazing - I didn't even think that it would come that clean.
Not many plans to be honest. I'm looking after bestie's ds again today so that he doesn't have to stay with his dad at work all day. It will keep ds entertained most of the day. I'm going to make the most of relaxing today as we're out all day tomorrow so I'll be tired if I'm not careful.
Should probably aim for a nsd as we've been going a bit insane with spends over the past fortnight.
HK - hope all goes well with your dd today. Huge congratulations on the completion of the IVA. It will probably take a little while for the good news to sink in.
Dawn - I did have a little giggle at the thought of your pooch getting wet and cold (sorry :o) thinking it was all exciting going into the sea and realising otherwise very quickly. A bit like me.
Welcome Kittychick and welcome back Twins
