Morning everyone
DNMS sorry to hear about the toothache, i hope it gets sorted soon, there is nothing worse.
LaE you did make me smile when you said about finding the choccie bar
Dawn three months will be here before you know it, and would be nice to have to have the gall bladder sorted before Christmas
Thank you to everyone for your good wishes for DD. it was nose surgery that she had. what was supposed to be a simple op, when they went in the nose was alot worse than expected and had to have internal reconstruction after repairing the mess inside. you can see that the nose isn't straight, there is a kink on the top now where bone and cartilage had to be removed.
Have managed to sort out helping DD shower, and I managed to do the nasal spray and cream treatments without her nearly passing out and throwing up which happened on Thursday.
Its funny you should say about DDs sport FVD. she has just took a junior British champion title and has a competition at the end of the month. she is supposed to be out of action 6 weeks, but has a competition at the end of the month. while the surgeon is not completely happy she is going to compete and her mentor has given her some homework on reading the psychology of your opponent as DD is still fairly new to the sport she has just took the title in, so feels abit better that she is still doing something while not physically training. she is hoping after next week to get some gentle training back in to get her joints moving as the rheumo has picked up problems with her left leg (its her weaker leg anyway)-he couldnt find a pulse so we are waiting further tests there.
their is no guarantees that the nose op will work but DD is still refusing further surgery if needed in the future on the nose.
it seems everything is flying at us all at once as we have the decorators coming in next week for operation back bedroom. with DD feeling more like herself, she is going to help me clear out more of the room at the weekend, as long as she doesn't bend or put her head down she will be okay.
I am desperately trying to keep the money saving faith, but it is hard of keeping track of everything with everything else going on.
I'm at hospital on Monday, a 3 hour drive each way .......i expect a row will be coming at me about looking after my own health.
Have a good weekend everyone xDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Morning all,
I was up early today to drop DS to work and am going to the coast today. I've just got out of the bath and am letting a towel soak up the worst of the water from my hair before drying.
I've done a couple of loads of washing and all packages are labelled waiting to be dropped. Changed the cat litter and had a quick sweep of stray bits of cat litter in the bathroom.
I've picked four more aubergines ready for pickling tomorrow, eight more on the plant to go. Everything is still growing but much more slowly now and not getting so big, including the courgettes, thank heavens! I read that aubergines are perennial in better conditions so I'm going to try to overwinter Auby in the water cooler cloche as an experiment.

Still trying hard to catch up with all the stuff that's fallen behind this week with not being at home.....finished most of the list I've posted, just got rhubarb to pick. Did a bit of budgetary stuff:
*Updated grocery budget. Couldn't work out why we were about £50 missing. One of those things that turn out to be 2 errors instead of just one, & you suddenly just spot them. I had thought we had only done 2 grocery shops from this month's budget, when in fact yesterday's shop was no. 3. I had also missed logging that most recent shop on my tracker sheet. All now sorted out & once I'd found the errors, I was pleased to see that it's correct to about the nearest 20p.
*Another 50p paid into my sealed pot.
*Entered a prize draw.
*Paid my CC in full.
*Put away an M&S voucher earned via mr f's CC.
*Another £5 survey income arrived - updated my signature, as I like to track this for motivation.
*Studied energy bill which arrived while I was away. We seem to have used a little more electricity & a little less gas compared with the same period last year. Anyway, even with the £17 per month reduction in our monthly payment, we are still £280 in credit towards the winter bills, thankfully.
*Messaged bank about a query I raised before I had to go away.....basically, out account was showing as overdrawn when it absolutely wasn't. Am satisfied with the customer service asst's response & accept that nothing can be done to change the way the transactions are ordered electronically, but I have messaged again to make sure a full explanation of why I think this needs looking at gets passed up to the tech team. Feel better to have moaned about it, anyway.
*Made 4 portions of courgette curry for the freezer.
Thanks for the good wishes. Sadly it isn't really a crisis that can be resolved, just hopefully made a little bit easier for those involved. Must go & get that rhubarb now,

Hello All,
- Back from Centre parcs we had a lovely week, cooked in most of the time, but had a few coffees and snacks out, so kept costs down. Still spent about £150 with activities and snacks but that included 4 hrs childcare and a spa session
- Stopped off a diggerland on the way home used DD, disability information so got free carers pass. Took a picnic too so only a tea purchased. It is a good day out if you fancy driving a digger.
- Been to Dover castle today which was very good, had to pay extra on top of annual pass, but it was worth it and saw loads of jousting. Being tired I forgot the bad with snacks and drinks so had to purchase some when there which just under £10.
- Got a bag shopping today my freezer it well stocked, so eaten up bolognaise and chicken curry.
- Been doing surveys to up my earning for Christmas0 -
Evening all, another few days of not posting. Need a good kick up the backside
Been a very lazy day today I have to say. Been in my PJ's all day, only changed to get into my workout clothes, did my workout, showered and back into PJ'sOne of those days.
Not much on the MSE front apart from I haven't been anywhere to spend any money. Tomorrow I need to get on top of the housework.
Anyway, just a little hello from me and hope your all having a fab weekend xx0 -
Morning all :hello:
No specific money saving stuff going on here, albeit that it will be a NSD as it's take your own drinks to the wedding we are going to , so have just grabbed some cans of pop from the fridge and filled a couple of bottles of water. Rock and roll here :rotfl:
So I just popped in to say hi and hope everyone is ok. Enjoy the sunshine. Purps.0 -
How thoughtful of the happy couple to organise it that way, Purps, if only more people did!
I didn't get to sleep until 5am as I was awake fuming and worrying as DS has had to quit his job due to bullying behaviour of the very people that are supposed to be teaching him.
I'm trying to doze a little more but my mind won't switch off.
I have a bit of tidying and organising to do here plus I accidentally put the same postage label on two different parcels so have to track down the right email for the one I need.
I'm going to defrost some stir fry pork for dinner tonight, not sure about lunch.
I'm out to bingo with my mum tonight and must remember to buy some salt ready for pickling this latest batch of aubergines.
