Thanks. Is that something you negotiated with them at the time, rather than it being a standard deal ? - I can't find any mention of it on my paperwork.

Taken from the MSE site on 24 April and written by Andrew Capstick and this refers to the fix I signed up for. I have copied a paragraph for your information

    "
Finally, Eversmart offers what it calls a loyalty payment – so stay with it for 12 months and you get £20, whether you stick with it or not. It’ll add this to your account, so if comes off your gas and electricity bill if you stick with them, or it will put it on your final bill if you switch.

This £20 offer isn’t on all tariffs, but Eversmart told us you can get it with the very cheap Fixed Smart Special deal"

And I believe it only applies to this particular tariff.

Thanks for the confirmation. This is the time and tariff I signed up for so fingers crossed - Although I can't see any mention of it on their own T&C's or paperwork I received at the time.

I did phone them recently and they confirmed this is the situation. I would suggest if the £20 credit does not appear on your statement when the fix is up to phone them. I know a few posts back someone did that and as a result they applied the credit without any issues.

Thank you - Just have to time the transfer correctly so the transfer doesn't occur before the 12 months are up. If I leave it too late it will probably cost me more than £20 in paying more than I need to.

Yes, can login but nothing works when I do.

It looks like they are upgrading the website at the moment - as the login screen looks completely different.

    Working fine for me.
  • I also get an insecure portal when trying to access the website. Have they never heard of testing...

Ironically their main site is HTTPS and if you log into the new portal it redirects back to HTTPS anyway. I have left already but wanted to check my finalised bills just in case but I can't see any details. Don't know if that is a bug or intended behaviour.

I had to chase them again but finally got my refunded credit ....
