Glad you had a good day DD.
So pleased for you Bala, you deserve happiness.
For yesterday,
Nice lie-in and not up until nearly 9am.
Finished making the tea loaf and while that was baking made a bread dough and got it proved then baked as well, house smelt good for hours.
Long bath and finished my latest book.
The treat of a chinese takeaway and a glass of wine.
Mr Fox wandering up the side of the field at twilight, obviously checking for rabbits but when he started to cross over to the old barn the crows started squawking to warn everyone he was around, no tea for him.

Hello
Bedtime? I wish! But I think it will be an early one tonight!Workety work big day number one ( there’s a few numbers this week) . The pleasure being it’s done!In silly o’clock early. A few challenges along the way but out at the other side with a few coins to jangle in the jam jar.
A few laughs and a good few profanities!Hello doggy? What do you mean you’ve not been fed ? Poor starving boy. Fed! His dozy big sister snoozed right through doggy dinner time.Hot shower and jammies on. The doggy can be walked whilst I’m wearing them later!10 -
1 I did the food planning for the week ahead, and it’s nice to also see going out plans creeping back in.
2 We are celebrating what may sound like a weird anniv, it’s the day when we decided to get “engaged to be engaged” back in 2003, the time was right for us, but wrong for other things happening close to home, so we waited 2 months before everything fell into place.
3 I watched a how its made and I am completely smitten with a handmade bone/bamboo majong set, which has sent me down an internet rabbit hole.
4 Sat and read in the garden, several ferrets climbed up me to check on me, followed by a lot of work in the garden we now have a car full bags with thorny things in for the a tip run.
5 A really nice chat to friends we would normally be with at this time of year.

Pleasures for today (Sunday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Hens OK.
3) Tidying up done and a load of washing dried on the line.
4) Lots of cooking today. Made cheese muffins this morning then flapjacks this afternoon. Did pasta with salmon for tea.
5) Bigger son returned from his travels (post isolation) and went to bed by 8pm!
6) Have dipped in and out of the virtual pub quiz record breaking attempt. He's got 17 hours to go.
7) Phoned my school friend.
8) Booked football tickets for local team tomorrow. Smaller son's friend can't go now so I shall be watching with him.
Been meaning to find my first ever post on this thread:

Ha, love that Frith.
For yesterday,
Not quite up with the larks but close to, early morning dog walk and so quiet.
Time with horse too and another meander around fields.
Roast chicken for late lunch followed by chocolate brownie pudding.
Restful afternoon with much reading and some tv, we rather like the new series with Nicola Walker, Annika.
Last dog walk of the day, chilly in the wind and then the farmer turned to bale the straw, quick job made and he came back at 10pm to collect the bales, all finished for another year.

Day number two done and dusted! Only another umptythump to do!The dog and I were at the big park at 6.30am. Mainly just us for most of the walk round. Nice and quiet and peaceful. Trees changing colour just ever so slightly. Most trees with a puddle of leaves below them so a bit of a scrunch as I walked.Home and hung out washing and then headed to work. Which was very busy. From the start! Waaah! However excellent tips which doesn’t always go hand in hand with a busy day but even better when it does! And home. And hello doggy oh come on up and give me a cuddle then. And hot shower and jammies on. Not much else planned for tonight.11

Pleasures for today (Monday, confusingly).
1) Stayed up to watch some of the virtual pub quiz record breaking attempt but there was a technology malfunction 18 hours in. Went to sleep at that point.
2) Hens OK.
3) Bigger son has gone back to work! He had had a few days annual leave, went back for a few hours, then the centre shut for 10 days as his colleague had coronavirus and 9 days into that break HE caught coronavirus so had another 12 days off!
4) Smaller son and I went to watch the football which his team won 3-1. We went for a hot dog and the young man staffing the stand was a former pupil of mine who said, "I didn't expect to see you here, miss!"
5) Had a tidy up on our return including cleaning the bathroom.
6) Looking forward to watching the Last Leg at 10.10 -

Cute &.
For yesterday,
Awful night sleep wise so very little achieved. In fact I went back upstairs to lie on the bed after breakfast and didn’t wake up until nearly midday, small dog snoozing beside me.
Finished my book, another cracker by Pat Barker.
We seem to have yet more baby sparrows fledged despite Capt S cutting the hedge in recent weeks, they were being fed on the kitchen windowsill.
Did get out for some fresh air and walked around the fields with small dog.
Watched a rather harrowing programme about 9/11 which sparked a discussion about what we were doing on the day as didn’t know each other then.
