Hello HI - I'm back from holidays and just catching up. I am so pleased that you have the DLA award - I can stop nagging now!

Re your eating habits - You could try eating what you cook and just don't have the carb bits that are easy to leave off your plate; like potatoes, or bread - stick to the meat and veg parts (except things like lasagne, where it would be silly to leave out the pasta!) - then your body would have more vitamins and protein to work on, instead of feeding it foods it will try to store as fats. It's a really easy way to eat more healthily and I promise you will feel better. You could still have a bit of toast (for weekend lunch or breakfast, for instance) but just cut it down and replace it with better foods.

  • Morning, reporting back to say cocoa is £1.69 for 250g in Lidl.

The butter on the other hand has now gone up to £1.30 a packet  That's a 15% increase in a fortnight.I should have bought some baking spread but I was too busy chuntering to myself about the butter increase to think.
