Sorry I've been really rubbish replying to everyone who has left replies on here this last week or so. I appreciate every reply and I do read and take on board what's said x0

Anyway.
Another appointment today, have got all the bedding washed and the last load of normal washing in. Will iron when I get home. Need to sort the food out and get stuff made and frozen.
Need to sort a plan out for money this week too. Our clarks appointment isn't until next week but I think I'm just going to go and sort it this weekend then I know everything for school is done. DD want's to go on pack lunch so will get her a lunch box too.
Girls are having their hair cut this week and will take DS next weekend so it's done for school.
Oh I still need wellies for youngest too! I need to add that to my list right now.
Also have a card from the post office saying I need to pay £2 for post as someone has sent something with not enough post but I'm not waiting for anything
So a day of doing nothing much really, it feels like when there's and appointment it totally takes up most of the day.0 -
Try using My Fitness Pal or a similar app to log the calories you're actually taking in each day as a starting point - I bet you'll find that a lot of the time you're eating a long way under what you should be, which means if you can simply swap out your "grab a bit of toast" habit for "eat a sensible portion of whatever you've prepared for the family" instead you'll probably find that far from gaining weight, you might actually lose a bit! At the moment if you're routinely eating well below the calories you require in a day your body is most likely storing it all rather than releasing what you need as energy - this could also have a bearing on energy/mood related issues as well.
Your worries don't sound stupid at all but you do need to apply a bit of logic - if nothing else can you remind yourself that you will set a far better example to the children - particularly the girls - of they see you sitting down eating regular sensible balanced meals?🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I know I totally agree, I definitely don't want the girls like me. I can see some things DD says and it worries me because I think that's how I started (she constantly asks if things have sugar/are fattening, only drinks water etc She does eat sweets and things sometimes though and I think school are helping her see that everything is okay in moderation)
I know realistically nothing bad will happen if I ate more/ate different/exercised less/walked less in moderation of course. But the other side tells me it will. It's a constant battle between two sides of myself and the unrealistic side always seems to win. Not to the extremes it has before but still way above a comfortable level. if you show a positive mentality to it, my boy loves working out with me... he does swimming'/tkd/football everyday during evenings and then shows me up at push ups and make it fun

I wouldn't know where to begin to help you with this but at least you recognise the problem and are getting professional help (?). I hope it all works out and as we've said to you before we're all here to help in any way we can.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Sorry turning it into a therapy diary and not a DFW diary0

Not at all. Nothing to be sorry for. Nothing in life happens in isolation. Everything has an effect on everything else. If it helps to talk feel free to do so. If you feel positive it'll help your debt busting,Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0

Definitely nothing to be sorry about! It's all part of your "bigger picture" isn't it - and as has already been said a bit like being in debt, compulsive behaviours are destructive and acknowledging that there is a problem and seeking help is the hardest bit - you've already done that!
On the eating proper meals thing - can you start small - maybe one or two nights a week when you all sit down together and all eat the same meal at the same time?🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thankyou!Toni'sfriend wrote: »I never thought about freezing eggs. Can they be used for scrambling and omelettes?
Yes they can, defrost in the fridge and use as normal.
HI, I was a notorious just eat toast eater, I found that when I started eating actual meals (half plate of veg meals) I actually lost weight even though my calories increased. I kept putting my body into crisis and then it panic stores the weight. I think a fitbit would just confirm that you don't sit down very much, or sleep very well. Keeping a food diary might be an eye opener for you, either pen and paper or one of the free apps (I like myfitnesspal, not least because it flags up when I have had too much of X).
