    Evening all :)
So sorry to hear about your sister's and her family's situation BB. They are so lucky to have you there beside them :A
CCL, sorry to hear that your OH is not well again :(

Just back from house (and dog) sitting for DD1. Where they live is very different from here, so it made a change, but nice to be back home again. OH has lit the wood stove as it was cold - lovely and cosy now :D

Not had much in the way of expenses since Friday morning when we left here. DD left plenty of food, so not much needed. Bought a loaf of bread to bring back with us, and a couple of HM individual pies from a farmers market at their local town (had these for dinner tonight with vegetables already in fridge :))

Visited a car boot sale this morning, and OH bought himself a good pair of leather boots to replace the ones he has that are wearing out. They cost £5, cheap for a good pair of boots :) They need waxing and a pair of insoles as they are fractionally on the big side, but good to go apart from that. Now to get him to throw away the old ones!

Also bought a few little things that can go in my sales unit :)

The garden could do with watering, but I fear it will have to wait till tomorrow, as I am shattered from not sleeping very much due to different bed and dog in it, which doesn't happen at home, but if I shut him in the kitchen there he howls and then nobody gets any sleep

    Early night tonight I think!

Well turned up at my mums late for lunch.
Left the chicken in the kitchen, I always shut the kitchen door......this time forgot that the eldest cat was sleeping in the washing basket:o
Got my bits together, went to get the chicken.....which had a few bits missing one side from said cat. If it still hadn't been hot out of the oven I don't think I would have had a chicken left:eek:
Ended up cutting the chicken up, good side to my mum's, attacked side cut up for the Cats.
Left the kitchen like a bomb had hit it, floor looking a mess from bits of chicken and grease.
Have just finished cleaning and mopping the floor.
Had a NSD, decided to go to Arg@s tomorrow.
Twins you were asking about the bargains- Elsa and Anna dressing up costumes down to 2.49.
Hope I've done the link okay, not good a technology

    Hi all

I am having three days off, no work, minimal housework/cooking etc. We have had two really lovely days out without spending hardly anything which I am really pleased about. My two are too old for eggs really but DS2 wanted one and I couldnt leave DS1 out so I bought them a small one each.

Taking DS2 to the coast tomorrow to try and spend some quality time with him while DS1 is working. Shouldnt be too expensive.

Oh the luxury of not having to get up and work tomorrow! Will be back to it on Tuesday though.

HappyKitties, I remember at my first ever dinner party in my first ever flat, feeling very grown up I went to answer the door to my guests and we all walked back in to see one of my cats standing on the table licking the butter :o Worse though than that was a visit to the parents of my then boyfriend for his birthday and one of his dogs got up on the table and ate the birthday cake :rotfl:

Lunch today went really well, so we'll in fact that when I came home tonight the empty cauliflower cheese tray that I had filled with the leftovers from my mum's plate and the scrappy bits of meat for the fox was empty. I asked what had happened to it and the teens had eaten it  (They had both had a plate of their own, that sounds like I hadn't already fed them!)

Two more parcels of lamb in the freezer for future roasts.

We won at bingo tonight! :T My mum won £5 and I won £34 (the last game and biggest prize!) so as we share that's £19.50 each :T

I have borrowed my mum's new drill for the putting up of trellis tomorrow, I will need to buy screws/rawlplugs etc and may spend my winnings on an electric screwdriver if they aren't too expensive. (I have very weak hands since a trapped nerve in my neck and bouts of carpal tunnel syndrome.) She has also got me two free bits of fancy curved trellis, it will go in the front garden which is more ramshackle than the back, just need to decide where.

Hope you all had a lovely day :)
    Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

    December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.10
  • Just done a car boot sale, bagging another £80 exactly! That takes this week's total to £270 and the 2017 total to £363.65

The £270 will be deposited first thing tomorrow when my local bank is open :D

I've also just placed an order for my first £10 Amazon voucher from Shop & Scan, and will be using it towards my next cat food purchase (this will mean I get 80 packets of cat food - 40 days' worth - for just £8.99!!!).
