Morning all

HK, I assume you have been in contact with all the local vets, animal wardens etc in your area? I mention this as round here, lost animals tend to end up at the vet's, even if not injured.
DNMS, I like vegetarian / vegan food too, but would struggle to give up things like cream, cheese and eggs. I rarely cook meat if I am on my own, and often choose vegetarian options if we eat out. I try to cook a non meat main meal at least once a week in any case. Sounds as though you will be making the most of all those lovely vegetables you are growing
My plans for the day look like this:
Dog walk - just the one this morning, as OH took DS's dog out :T
Start to clean up the house a bit after latest round of family staying - DS is staying with her older brother and his GF tonight, and going home tomorrow. Not sure what DS is doing. Hope he lets me know soon, so I know how many to cook for tonight
Wrap and post an ebay sale - got to find it first!
Might try to pop to sales unit - or maybe go tomorrow. We are going away on Friday for a couple of days, so lots to fit in!
Check figures on the business stuff I have been doing. Then I can put away all the paperwork littering the lounge floor, and will have done most of the prep for my tax return :T
Right, GD1 has appeared, so I must go and find her some breakfast. Back soon to update!0 -
DawnW oh I'm not going down without a fight to find lost kitty.
We've got a poster up at the vets aswell as notifying them. The vets know me well after I did a neutering program in the area a couple of years ago, i was permanently there with animals.
I've got 2 friends that work at the local council, one had a copy of the poster, so both dog wardens have it now and the other keeps checking for us for any animals that have been picked up should the worst happen.
It is like finding a needle in a haystack, it wouldn't be so bad if she hadn't been a house cat for 8 years, that's our main worry and since the sighting the other week there has been nothing.
Even driving round at dawn and dusk, we are just not seeing many cats out at all. Thought we would see more but nothing.
Determined not to give up even though I feel like I am, but more posters just generally being put everywhere on lamp posts today.Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The bird made it through the night and I have arranged to drop it to a wildlife rescue centre tonight. I thought the teens would insist on keeping it but the hourly feeds have taken their toll already, safe to say they aren't ready to be parents any time soon! I fed it this morning so it has a full tummy for now

I got my food out ready for the day and in all the excitement have left it at home , at least I do this less often than I used to.
I dropped my flea at package last night, have discovered there is a Hermes drop off just outside the mainline station so I don't even have to get into the car!
I'm about ready to send off another package to WB , just waiting for a code
Little Auby is doing good and his newest leaves have unfurled, it's abit chilly here today so I have left the storm lantern door closed.
I've a ton of washing up to do when I get in and I should put some more washing in too, living the dream!Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

Morning everyone,
Feeling very tired and drained today. I'm having to force myself to get up and do things. The dreaded TOM isn't helping and I've just devoured 2 pieces of toast with peanut butter. Really need to get some energy from somewhere as I need to get a workout in today as missed 2 days.
FatVonD, I'm so pleased the bird made it through the night :T Well done on keeping it safe and healthy. Hopefully the teens now appreciate all that hard work you put in when they were little
Working from home today so I've really got to motivate myself but today I hope to:
- Check surveys
- Complain about the person who made a winning bid on my item but has made no contact since (no payment as it was collect in person)
- Make a trip to Tesco's to pick up little bits and intend to stick to the list!
- Write to Hoist who took over my Tesco debt and have defaulted me last year even though the debt should have been defaulted back in 2011!
- Look to see if I can get a good deal on the FitBit Alta HR as I really want one but they are quite pricey!!
- Hopefully get enough energy to get a workout in
Have a good day everyone0 -

I have the same problem, there is a very deep grass verge in front of my house, there was a path to my front gate at one point but it's long disappeared. I'm trying to reinstate it and hoping I'm not doing anything untoward as a path exists underneath there somewhere!Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

Did some serious tidying, and OH came along behind with the Dyson :A DS is away tonight, we have the dog, but apparently he will collect him tomorrow  Wish DS would sort stuff out now
Wrap and post an ebay sale - got to find it first! Actually 2 sales today :T Both packed and posted now
Might try to pop to sales unit - or maybe go tomorrow. We are going away on Friday for a couple of days, so lots to fit in! Popped in during trip to post office. A couple of things had sold, which is better than nothing! Walked for free exercise
Check figures on the business stuff I have been doing. Then I can put away all the paperwork littering the lounge floor, and will have done most of the prep for my tax return :T Oops not done this yet - but the night is young! Now done and put away :T:j:T:j
Right, GD1 has appeared, so I must go and find her some breakfast. Back soon to update!
Watered all the pots and hanging baskets in the front and back gardens
Load of bed linen out on line, was put out late, but hoping it will be mostly dry!
Several surveys for onepoll
Easy meal for OH and I tonight, tortelloni with ratatouille from freezer as a base, butter added to pasta, grated cheese on top, grilled, with some Spanish ham stuff from Lidls on the side. Very nice too
Sorted and posted more paperwork for ongoing bank transfer stuff

A friend of DS's took them to the wildlife rescue centre this afternoon so I didn't need to go tonight which was a relief.
I was at MrT at 7pm and they had done the reductions mega early again  I managed to get sandwiches for tomorrow but had to pay full price for fruit again and bought peri peri chicken breasts for the teens (who aren't in to eat them but will probably be ravenous when they do get in.)
Half the washing up is done and the other half is soaking (these are cups and plates liberated from the teens room that require a chisel if you don't soak them first.) The clothes washing can wait until the (long:T) weekend but I will need to iron DSGF's work uniform for tomorrow.
I had to put in my invoice early because of Easter but am owed for 15 days on this one which is better than this months eight days! I've spent more than I planned this month, mostly at the garden centre
(though I have made nearly £200 from other stuffs to enable me to have p spending money over and above the £5 per day I had budgeted.) Its been a useful exercise, I will definitely keep up with just one big monthly shop and am hoping to see my number two credit card at zero this payday :T Then I will have just one more CC (on 0%) and my overdraft left to clear.
Hope you are all having a good evening

Morning folks
Haven't had chance to post before due to a hectic week in work.
The scary landlord is coming today to look at the outhouse with a contractor.
OH and I both have phone contracts that are up. OH needs a new phone. I was umming and ahing but fate has decreed that I do as my phone appears to be totally dead this morning. I don't know if it's the battery or if it's the charging socket. But either way I can't switch it on! Might see if the phone shop have a battery I can try.
Not much mseness going on today I'm afraid.
Have a good one all

Morning everyone
Not alot done yesterday and crashed out early which I must have really needed. Feel much better today for it.
Plans today include a NSD
Get bedding stripped and washed, hopefully on the line, sunny but cold here
Hoover around
Quick bathroom wipe over-what is it about teens and the ability to be messy once you've just had good tidy/clean
Take DD to work later on, so gives me chance to catch up on a few more episodes of my much neglected Casualty-only just watched the Christmas episodes.
That's about it from me, have a great day everyone xDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
