  • Well I got some stuff done today, and I also managed to ignore a load of stuff (like schoolwork). I ended up being out and about from about half eight until six this evening. Barely time to do anything much around the house - I managed to hoover through and wash the dishes, and also changed the cat litter as well.
    Other than that, hairdressers as planned, tutoring for longer than expected so I actually earned more than the haircuts cost in the end and then went to bestie's house where we were fed for free and I spent a few hours catching up properly with her.
    I've successfully ignored all school work, and also haven't done any crochet either, which is a bit annoying but I will sort that out in about 10 minutes time.
  • Still not feeling 100% but managed to get a few things done today
    *needed cat food at Tesc@s and remembered to use my 150 free points coupon. No good YS bargains though:(
    *hospital appointment first thing, back again on Thursday.
    *rested up when I got home then vacuumed downstairs. With the help of my daughter managed to find one of her Christmas presents the cat had decided to run off and play with.......found under the sofa!
    *usual dishwasher duties
    *kitchen floor mopped
    *banking checked and I've got a payout to come from a cash back site.
    Feeling pleased with what I did achieve. Busy day tomorrow, hoping to be back on top form:T

    Hi February Folks,

    DW requested a day out by train today, so we headed up to the Forth and Clyde canal and walked from Gilshochill, through Maryhill ("There's been a murd'rrr") and into Kelvindale.

    Debt Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Two:

    *
    Took coffee with us in a flask. Had a laugh as the train driver threw us around corners at high speed coming home and we tried to sup our coffee without spilling it.

    * Stopped off as we walked through the city to use the free toilets in GoMA instead of paying 30p each at Glasgow Central.

    * DW did some photogra-faffing; saw a young roe deer: DW very pleased.

    Good tip! Never thought of that one and you reminded me of somewhere I've not been for ages - I'll pop in the next time I'm home and think of you while I pee for free :rotfl:

    Hi

    Posting a little late as I was busy yesterday

    So spent yesterday in hospital with my daughter she still has her egg allergy and it's unlikely that it will go away which sucks

    Cycled to work today weather was awful but had my waterproofs so was ok but not fancying it tomorrow

    Went to the gym

    I've withdrawn £1600 to pay of a credit card I know it's the right thing to do and the money I'm currently paying off it can be used for another debt but it's so scary

    Made lunch and took it to work

    Made tea - cupboard pasta meal with some courgettes from veg box, my veg box was free as they sent me a 5 item box instead of the 12 item one I ordered so they just refunded it all hooray

    Got rid of some stuff on OLIO which is a sharing app for free food and household goods.

    Had a few bids on eBay stuff

  • Hello! Determined to be slightly more on the case today - yesterday was all over the shop (although was at least a NSD).

    Looks like everyone's going great guns this week, will have to make sure I keep up. :T

    Today's list:
    1. leave my wallet at home when I go into town with a friend later - I have no need to buy anything, we are not intending to stop for coffee, therefore I don't need money.
    2. batch cook tomato soup
    3. batch cook black bean chilli
    4. batch cook macaroni cheese
    5. batch cook sweet potato and coconut milk soup
    6. social media while working
    7. tidy my dining room - find it so stressful when it's such a mess!
    8. RETURN THE ONLINE ORDER THAT I KEEP IGNORING.

    If I manage all that while in charge of Child 3, it will be a miracle, but I'm aiming high. :rotfl:
    Trying to figure out a whole new life. Trying to figure out a whole new budget.
    Divorcing, unclear on final debt total right now, but focusing on building a financial buffer zone.

    Morning Treadingonplaymobil :) always good to aim for the sky :p

    Madam had me up at just after 6 - where does the time go in the morning????

    Today we are meeting up with the kinship carers group. It's a bit of a ballache as it's 40 miles away but good for madam to be around other kids in the same situation. As we're going to a tea room need to make sure madam and I have full bellies before we go and take sandwiches as well to try to avoid expensive bills!

    Boo hoo to the last day of my holiday....

    Things for today:

    * [STRIKE]read martin's email[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]check banks[/STRIKE]
    * hang up washing - will check forecast to see if it's worth putting it on the line
    * dinner is rubber chicken with rice mmmm will pick some more kale from the garden - doing really well at using up at the moment but like I said yesterday I'm finding it hard not baking!
    * plant seeds - this is my no.1 goal for today! Will need to pick up compost
    * masters stuff
    * maybe check onepoll if I have time
    * iron and photo some stuff for fleabay
    * dig out some pliers to take out some raw plugs
    * bags/clothes/lunches ready for tomorrow

    Ok that's my lot I think. Have a great day guys x

    Morning all :)
    Horrible weather here this morning, rain and strong winds, so no pegging out of washing today :(
    Little GD will be here shortly, but I must try to take small mutt out beforehand, if not raining too much, so just checking in here quickly while I finish my coffee! Very long grandma day today due to observation week (DD2 is a FE teacher), 7.30 am till after 6. Very tired baby (and grandma!)
    GS2 arriving back from his brother's this afternoon, so need to think what to feed everyone, sausages, mash and onion gravy for tonight I think - always popular :)OH cooked it, with the minimum of instruction :A but moaned about doing it :cool:

    Other than that:
    OH to take out big dog this morning, GS2 can do it this afternoon (as he is his family dog after all...) I did small dog this morning, OH did big one. This afternoon, GS2 walked the big one and OH did mini mutt :)
    Put washing off airer away in airing cupboard Done
    Make a cake with little GD - she always asks to do this. Licking the bowl seems to be a particular highlight :rotfl: We did 'jam cake', which is plain sponge layer topped with HM raspberry jam and sprinkled with dried coconut. Always a favourite :)
    Bits from fridge / larder for lunch, might make some oven chips for GD, with an egg Sandwiches for lunch, did sausage, chips and sweetcorn for GD for dinner - she ate some of it....
    Start a shopping list Started
    I have 2 ebay parcels to post, not sure if I will get to the post office today or if they will have to wait till tomorrow Will do tomorrow, all packed ready :)
    Someone is coming to collect 2 more sold items this afternoon :)Done :D

    And breathe! Got the washing up of doom to do shortly though :(

    Right, coffee finished, better get on with it!
