  • ha we're grandma twins today Dawn :p we're planning on a cake baking session this afternoon. I couldn't take the 2 weeks without baking! :rotfl:
    DF as at 30/12/16
    Wombling 2025: £87.12
    NSD March: YTD: 35
Grocery spend challenge March £253.38/£285 £20/£70 Eating out
    GC annual £449.80/£4500
    Eating out budget: £55/£420
    Extra cash earned 2025: £195
  • Morning all :hello: quick check in to keep me on the straight and narrow before I dash off to work. Enjoy your break bob when do you hear CCL wish I was cake baking this afternoon with my smalls instead of going to work! However smallest small is going to her nannys so she will have fun!

Fresh blueberries in baked oats to continue to use them up, picked out the manky ones and rinsed the rest ;)
Check banking, surveys, FPL and £co
HM soup to work for lunch, plus snacks for fruit
Something from stores for tea, will get DH to get something out of freezer
Continue to move washing around airer. Wet and damp here so no ch ace of it going out but no heating on either as it's mild which is good for bills but not so good for drying washing :D
Try and do some knitting tonight

Right, small list but as I'll be out of the house for 12 hours I want to keep it achievable :rotfl:

    Hi gang,

Dawn and DNMS – enjoy your grandma days :D
    Happy holidays Bob!

I’m just eating my overnight oats at the mo :A OH has a portion too.

We both took lunch for work – OH was moaning how hungry he was yesterday with just a sandwich so I whizzed up some HM tomato soup for us both as well today ;) (the beans burnt a bit on the bottom so hopefully it tastes ok… :shhh:)

I’m going for a drink at lunch with a pal from work – usual Weds yoga class isn’t on for half term – so that’s technically a £4 saving on my usual Weds lunch time spend :p

Got chauffeured to/from work – means I work longer but saves me getting the tram and we still only have 1 car and are surviving ok :D

Got something out for tea – beef and chicken defrosting in the fridge for tomorrow/Friday/weekend and got fish out for this eve :A

    Need to check banking/YNAB

Meeting up with a friend next weekend – will look into deals for lunch/activities at some point

Need to call old bank – they sent a letter to my parents’ address about my ‘savings account’… I wonder if there is anything in there!

    Have a good day everyone!

    Morning all
A bit of a lazy-ish morning, however been quite productive in the last hour.
    - I've managed to clear my spare room a bit more. I've now got a whole bag filled for CS which I'll take to town when we go this afternoon.
    - Looking quite drizzly here but intend to have a little window shop/walk around the local town today. We'll probably go into Costa for a coffee and I'll try and womble some receipts whilst I'm there.
    - I'll probably pop into Greggs and get my free coke zero with the app.
    - I'm pleased that I've got back on top of my emails. Want to try and keep it that way now.
    - FPL and comps
    - check market research apps nothing doing.
    - will check iPoll, completed a survey last night for 25p - I'm at £20 now so £5 to go before cash out.
    - got an email back from cashback site to say one of the 'pending' payments has been confirmed, replied asking about the other one which is £3.80.
    - continue to list on eBay and Facebook as I sort through my spare room. I'm logging all books/DVDs on Webuybooks and I'm going to give it a few weeks and if they don't sell I'll give in to WBB as I want some space.
    - DD has a friend for a sleepover tonight so that should keep her happy and entertained for a while.
    - I've got a load of google play free film vouchers (pringles offer) - need to work out how to download and get it on my TV!
Think that's all today. Trying to enjoy my week off work.
