Sorry to hear about your chamaeleon Princess Pea :(

Do people REALLY pay that?:eek::eek:

To be honest I rarely clean mine. It only has wrapped and bagged rubbish put in it, and a bucket of soapy water and a brush every few months is quite sufficient!

My neighbours contemplated it until I asked if they were rich, lol, her reply "well it's only £2.50 and I can't be bothered" my reply "that's £5 per month or £60 a year PER bin". Wouldn't mind but they're always crying poverty and are so lazy it's untrue - they had 2 apple trees in their garden, the fox ate more of the apples than they picked and ate, they just left them to rot in garden and now they've actually killed one of the apple trees off  In the past I've picked the apples and cleared the garden for them but gave up, they actually have two grown up kids living at home, one works part time and the son hasn't worked since he had his appendix out 2 years ago

I only ever wash mine a coupe of times a year as nearly all our rubbish is bagged

    Morning all

Well I have done a few things planned for this week.

Ive started to go through my emails and unsubscribe from all the sales and lovely clothing emails I get to help me avoid temptation.

TC went in this morning whixh I have budgeted in YNAB app already against clothing as my work shoes have a hole in the toe. Really glad I didn't pay to get them reheeled last week as I had planned now!

Went to the cinema last night whixh is prepaid with our cineworld cards, expensive (£35.95 pm for both of us) but value for money if you go more than twice a month which we always do.

Made tea out of freezer/cupboards and updated freezer inventory

Looked at the YS section for the 1st time ever but nothing I fancied.

Turned the heating down from 18.5 to 17

Today I am at work then at hospital. Should be an NSD as family member Im taking to hospital gets free parkin

Morning :) up since 6 doing goodness knows what!

My mind is full of new seasons and planting, growing, garden & allotmenting :j this morning while drinking coffee I've been looking at growing calendars and ideas for making raised planters and container ideas for potatoes :D

    Small plans for today:

    * [STRIKE]checked banking & cashback cc [/STRIKE]- I took out a cashback cc giving 5% cashback for the first 3 months & have £7.15 in cashback already :)
    * [STRIKE]going into town this morning to go to the £shop for seed potatoes. will park out of town and walk in. will go to the library with madam,[/STRIKE] depending on time might use the parental's residents card and take her either to the museum or to look around the Cathedral. [STRIKE]Will look in Wilk0s as my ds gave me a £10 gift voucher for xmas ;)[/STRIKE] £1 used :D
    * pick up compost
*[STRIKE] as we have no bread we might end up getting lunch....[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]madam to ballet this afternoon[/STRIKE]
    * wash out some seed pots and plant some seeds :Dnot done :(
    * really need to do some work on my master's application - still some more research to be done before putting my statement together but have been brain storming things I want to include
    * send an email to a support group in London as I'm thinking about starting one in Kent
*[STRIKE] continue with operation no clutter[/STRIKE] & clean bathroom
    * [STRIKE]make the pizza ( didn't do yesterday....:o)[/STRIKE]
    * play a game with oh tonight. I got him labyrinth for his birthday, we've played it once and it's really fun :D

Ok that's all for today I think! I'm trying hard to use up things in the freezer rather than keep making more to put in, but am finding it hard with the lack of baking!

    Morning all :)
Just taken DS's dog out, and now it is raining :(
I suppose the garden needs it, but I still have small mutt to take out, and as I may have mentioned before, he doesn't 'do' rain :rotfl:

Other things today, apart from copious dog walks (OH is out, DS is away, and I can't manage them both together): Did 3 out of 4, plenty of exercise today, though sadly I ate 2 fairy cakes and a bar of chocolate as well, which rather spoils it :o
No heating downstairs - it isn't cold. Probably light the wood stove later though as it does get chilly / gloomy in the evenings Done, got very cold, rainy and gloomy by late afternoon :(
Any surveys that are available A few for onepoll
Use up leftovers for lunch Had pate on toast
Simple jacket potato and whatever on top dinner, just OH and I tonight :DDone
Housework - must do some today. Stairs to start with (3 storey house, so plenty of those!) Just the stairs :o apart from tidying up, dishwasher etc
Cancel a subscription I don't use any more Done, waited ages to get through to 'customer services', probably a 10 minute call, which I had to pay for  They try to talk you into not cancelling, which is presumably why you can't just do it online :( Won't be dealing with them again!
Make a loaf of bread in the BM, save going to a shop! Done, NSD :D
Washing on airer as it is raining :(Done
Move some money as OH has a big dental bill to pay later this week  Done
3 ebay sales today, which was unexpected as it has been really slow lately. One already posted (used a free stamp from RM surveys as it fitted into a 'large letter'), 2 in process of being packed :)

    RM surveys tasks done
Better get on and pack those parcels!
Hope everyone has a good day :)
  • Morning all :D
Thanks for the kind words Ally, and helping me to put a positive spin on my day yesterday.
I didn't sleep well last night, kept waking up every couple of hours and I'm not sure why. Thankfully I don't have to go to work today :j but I do have a busy, not very mse day ahead. Which is going to be tough as I'm so skint running into payday (1 week today).
DS and I have a hairdressers appointment at 9am, and I have been asked to do some tutoring today as a bit of an extra. After that I'm going to go and spend the afternoon with bestie and have a good catch up with her as it's been way too long since I saw her. So a busy day.
Other than that I need to:
plan and prep some meals for the rest of the week
    hoover right through the house
get the kids on board with some half term cleaning
do some crochet - I have far too many projects on the go at the moment and need to get some finished off
no spending other than the hairdressers and maybe 99p for a pencil case which I desperately need.
Also brought some work home which I can't ignore for ever...

    Hi everyone

I’ve been looking at YNAB this morning – I need to ‘borrow’ £130 from next month’s budget… Not the best as will put me a step behind before the month has even begun… Will need to reign it in next month… It’s weird – it’s a week to pay day and we have over £1200 in the bank (woo!) but I know we have no money to spend – a surprisingly good feeling to know exactly where you stand even though that’s without any ‘fun money’ available… :rotfl:

Today should be an NSD – will stay in at lunch to enforce it! :naughty:

    Here’s me:
Cheapo porridge brekkie for me and OH :A
    Didn’t wash my hair
    Used freebies – moisturiser/make up
    Got chauffeured to/from work
Packed lunch for me and OH :A
    Keep up with flylady/declutter…
Free entertainment this eve – continue with knitting, read free ebook, watch tv…

    Catch up soon!
    Xx
  • Morning all :hello:

Your planning sounds great DNMS and it made me think I've an old plastic washing basket with a nick in it which makes it dangerous to use with smalls about but I'm guessing if I drilled holes in it I could make it a potato planter?

    Today's list:

    Check banking, surveys, FPL, £co
HM soup and snacks to work, hot drink for commute
Tea foraged from freezer, left over crumble /treacle tart for pud (only as it needs using mind ;))
Message utilities provider to see when they might be doing smart meters, I know they've got until 2020 but I would like one now :D
    Some knitting tonight for relaxation
Hopefully delivery co will drop order for customer today so I can I to her tomorrow and she'll pay me :D
Used up some product in the shower to try and liberate some more bottles and space :D
No heating here again as it's mild :D

Right, must dash to work. Have a good day. Purps.
