Oh dear… I think I went too far! :rotfl: OH was ‘freezing’ when I went out last night so he pressed advance on the heating and turned up the thermostat, which meant the heating was then on all night at 24 degrees! Order has resumed at a respectable 20/21 degrees :rotfl:

Free brekkie and lunch at training day at work – bacon sarnies this morning and then domino’s pizza and cookies for lunch – sounds good to me!

We’re hopefully going to order our new kitchen tonight! Not dfw-esque but it is interest free… :):o

Foxgloves - we sometimes make really easy burgers - just chickpeas and sweetcorn whizzed up with spices etc

    Happy Friday gang!

  • Morning all :coffee: Another one here with a rotten night of sleep. I ended up on the sofa because dd is having a sleepover and was keeping her brother awake - so I put him in with dh and came down to sleep on the old faithful sofa. Had to have a word with dd at 3am as she was still keeping me awake, and then was awake on and off between then and half five. I will almost certainly be napping later. Obviously I'm also in a right grump with such a small amount of sleep so everyone needs to stay well back today.
DNMS - I feel your pain with the dentist. Having had a load of work on my mouth since an accident at the age of 7 I get a real sense of dread at the d word.
FVD - I confess that I went out without completing my marking yesterday. I'm down to the last 8 books though and I'm going to stick my neck out and say I will definitely make the time to do those today, tired or not.
Although I have no plans for today I may need to pop out in the car, just to check the tyres. I got the pressure warning light yesterday and when I got air, one tyre was incredibly low - leading me to think that I have a slow puncture, and therefore even more expense in what has been my most expensive month for ages. Fingers crossed for me that it was just a bit of a one off.
    Have a good day all.
  • Morning all,

Well yesterday I got paid and updated ynab, I dont think I like seeing all my money 'used up' haha!

I am out all day today so no heating on, using someone elses electricity and free milk at work.

I tried to list some unworn shoes on eb@y but my memory card is playing up in my phone and it wouldn't let me access my photos. Hopefully my phone isn't on the blink as was hoping to switch to sim only when my contract ends in May.

    Have a good day everyone

    Hi

What a lovely day! cycled to work - feel exhausted, got a a bit of iron deficiency I think so will be picking up some supplements lunchtime

    Did a load of dishes

Brought lunch to work, its literally just stuff from the fridge thrown in a box but should be filling

Sorted car tax, but that's free hooray as we have a hybrid car

Going to try cycling to the gym later

That's all from me for now

Just popped in for coffee - gardening session going great. Squats without going to the gym, which doesn't appeal to me at all! Have taken my box of oddments of fish out of the freezer as have decided will make a fish pie base later & that will do us Sunday instead of buying meat.
    Ok....back outside now x

    Morning all
Well done DNMS for getting through your dentist appointment, like most on here I don't like dentists either!

    So yesterday I
    - sold a DVD on Facebook and was collected.
    - did an ipoll survey - its slow going.
    - bought 2 YS tins of rice pudding.
    - 'bought' a free necklace via Magic Freebies. Just had to pay £3.99 postage, so that will do for a birthday present for a friend.
    - Wombled 3 Morrisons receipts will get them added when I'm next in store.
    Today so far I've:
    - contacted Tefal (finally) about my peeling pans and they are sending me a claim form.
    - check my European Health card and okay till 2019.#
    - continue to take the lid off moisturiser and foundation to use up the last dregs.
    - checked market research apps - nothing doing
    - going for a walk today. Free exercise and more bounts points. What do people spend their bounts points on? I can't see to see anything in the 'store'...
That's all for today, LP x

    Hi all,

I have been AWOL for a few days due to family visit and generally a bit busier than usual due to half term then crashing out in evenings. I didn't sleep at all well last night so seems I am in good company - must be something in the water!

Well I went to Ikea this week as it is on route to family - didn't spend a lot but more than I should although all on honest to goodness practical-needed-for-a-long-time items. I needed to go to look at kitchens and gutted because the one I want is now discontinued, with very little left, and had gone into the sale to get rid but is now back to full price - could not make it up, really feels like the story of my life :(

    Today
    *Reconcile budget - done
    *Washing mountain
    *Meals from stores
*Read meters as have had the email request (makes me nervous!)

It is gloriously sunny outside atm so I am going to go drink tea and soak in some of that free Vit D, hope you all have a fab day! :)

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Last day here and feeling a little sad but a whole lot of excited!

I brought in posh donuts for everyone since they wouldn't let me pay for anything last night (bar my cab home which nobody knew about.)

I had one of said donuts for breakfast and then for lunch finished of the cheese and crackers I bought yesterday (though there was significantly less than half left :o )

I've packed my wally trolley with everything I need to take home, I'm glad I brought it as I had a large jar of pickling vinegar that had been in my drawer for a while. I'm also taste testing a sainsbugs TTD Easter egg, the review is due on Monday, I'm not!

Tonight I plan to cook the anchovy spaghetti dish and do a freezer inventory prior to food shopping on Saturday morning.

    Happy Friday everyone!
