On hold now talking to one of their managers... Grr.
Email Watchdog, if everyone this happens to did the same maybe they would look into it.
Should always ask them to email and/or text the details to you.0 -
I asked for my PAC, was called by retentions and now I've got a HTC Magic with 300 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited (well, 500mb) internet for £20/month for 24 months.0

I like how they are sneakily offering 24 month contracts now as standard. I remember it was 12 months, then 18 months is the standard, and now it seems 24 months is.
I am trying to upgrade 1 of my 4 lines with the samsung Jet. They wont match any of my previous offers which I have had which are: Free Samsung Soul 600 mins, Unl txts for £12.50 pm on an 18month contract ( x2 ), and I also have a Samsung Omnia on 600 mins, Unl txts for £17.50pm on an 18 month contract.
I have been told they can do me 600 mins, unl txts on 18 months for £24 with the Samsung Jet. I have refused, and requested my PAC code. I am sure I will be getting a few phone calls in the next few days, but I will not settle for anything more than £17.50pm on this one.
They can make all the excuses they like, but when I got the Omnia, it was a £300 phone 5 months ago, and they managed to do me the deal then.0 -
I seem to notice the Vodafone member helpers on here dont venture into threads like this one only odd simple ones.
Whats the point of having a web relations team0 -

I Agree... even on the eforum they ignore posts that they dont want to deal with....
MY contract is up for renewal and the earliest i can upgrade is the 15th July. I have has Retentions calling me every 24 Hrs and after a ten minute convo and me asking for the deal i want:
900 Mins
Unltd Text
Unltd Internet / Email
N97
No more than £40
(Currently i pay £35 and have all the above but only 600mins)
they come back to say they cant..... even though it is a pre-available option for new customers online? why? how?
Now. they are peanalising me for having been a customer for 3 years.. paid my bill on time and never had a bad word to say about them. i know Nokia have released the N97 to be a contender for the Iphone... how good is it when they are compared? I am tempted to cut my losses and go with an Iphone as they seem to be growing Popular. i have loved my little W960i and only recently (last two weeks) has it ever began to be problematic. The N97 looks like a very well built and uniquely designed phone which is what has atracted me to it.Awaiting PPI - Lloyds TSB LoanDebt Free Date: [STRIKE]30/10/09 02/10/09 07/08/09 [/STRIKE] 10/07/090 -
RisingJoe, the price plan online is 900 Minutes/Unlimited Texts/Unlimited Internet 18 Month agreement with £150 towards the phone.
If you're asking for a 24month contract tho (where the phone is free) then they should be giving you a better deal.0 -
you can get the N97 with 700 mins, ultd texts,,,,, ultd internet , and pay just 29.99 for the N97..... and a monthly tarrif of £34.26.... on an 18 month contract..
better than voda seem to be ofefring you it seems by a good margin...0 -
My contract has come to an end
I was on anytime 500, 250 texts and stop the clock for £35 month
I was offered this deal if I chose not to upgrade handset
Anytime 500, 250 texts and stop the clock and free internet £17.50 for full 12 months
Although I accepted it I have 7 days to change my mind
Is this a good deal, are they likley to give me any more minutes if I ask?
She said it was against retail rules to offer me a bigger discount on line rental than 50% so she wouldnt go any lower than £17.50
Can I get a better deal? are they likely to increase my minutes to 750?

Does anyone know if its possible to contact the Vodafone Outbound (retention ??) team, as they phoned me yesterday following a PAC Code request & offered me an acceptable deal. Unfortunately i got cut off.
I assumed they would ring me back, but heard nothing... I now neither have a PAC code or a someone who i can talk this offer thru with
Any help appreciated0
