Hi...
Well, my phones arrived on Thursday and I must say I am surprised at how good the Nokia 5800 is. ...................................contract disputes breaches there T&C's...
Your opinions are welcome,

Download the Ovistore from the Download application. It should have some more free apps. Download app also has some free apps, but it's not as good as Ovistore.
Update to v21, web browser is much faster, and the phone is a little faster aswell.0 -

Hi,
I've looked around the web, and the best website IMO is getjar.com - loads and loads of free applications, ringtones, wallpapers, satnavs, games, etc etc.
http://www.getjar.com/software/Nokia/5800_XpressMusic - takes you to the Nokia 5800 pages.

How did you manage to get that? I was on the phone to them today and the cheapest I could get it for was around £30 and with less minutes. How long is the contract for?3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

The cheapest they would offer the Nokia N97 to me is at £40 per month, the Samsung Jet was £30 per month.
I've been offered the Nokia 5800 at £20 per month for 18 months or the Samsung Tocco Ultra at £25 pm for 18 months, both with 300 minutes and unlimited texts but no internet.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
Noelphobic - The freephone number you want for Vodafone Customer Services is 0808 0000166 - Option 2 then Option 2.
Unfortunately however many times they are told that the account holder cannot be contacted on the mobile and are given an alternative number, they persist in ringing the mobile. And they do persist. My wife has had about 8 calls so far.0 -
i agreed to a contract with vodafone last week. got the phone last thursday, but the microsd card that they promised to give me is not there.. which was supposed to be an 8gb microsd card. so rang up n they said they will send one out to me. waited until tuesday still not received it. rang again n they said i should received it without 2 days? received a text yesterday to confirm that it has been despatched by royal mail.
just wonder when will i receive it?? have been waiting for it.. thanks0 -

Spoke to couple of advisors and got two different deals on N97. Dont like both of them as they are really not willing to do any better deal on this new phone.
1. 500 min, 150 text, 24-month contract with 18 months at £31/month and £35 after. Also handset is £100 with this deal. Free internet
2. 3000 minutes unlimited text and Free internet and Free handset for £50 a month for 24 month contract.
Both seem to be ridiculous and if anyone has upgraded please let us know so we know which direction to go in.
Many Thanks0 -
Isnt the Nokia 97 a high range handset? the 95, 95 8GB and N96 werent cheap when they first came out.0

I have 1 contract with Vodafone that will not be up for renewal till next year just to let you know.
What I done was transferred my number over from o2 calling their new sales line - in theory they dont give a better deal than retentions but i think it depends on who you speak to.
I rang the standard number 08080 408408 blagged that i spoke to someone before and they said they can offer me a better deal than advertised over the phone and that i was really interested in the Samsung Jet and he offered me some discount deals for other phones but my mind was set for this phone the Samsung Jet after a bit of pressure he agreed to £20 a month for 15 months and then £40 a month for the last 3 months (which can be brought down anyway).
I know these sales people are dodgy so i got him to text me the deal as well this was yesterday.
I have got the phone already and the deal has been done.
I think as this is the last few days of the month most advisors have targets to reach so i think right time to take advantage
PS my phone is now on Ebay ready to be sold0
