Thats crap then sorry about the language.
Maybe an alternative way is to ask for the PAC code and transfer the number and then transfer back by being a new customer.
Thats so unfair!
might be an idea but it's my son's 21st next Sunday and the new mobile is supposed to be his present.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
Got offered the same deal as last year straight off the bat. Didn't even need to ask for a PAC...
£8pm for 200 mins, 200 texts
£5pm for mobile internet
= £13 total
+ a free handset from the following: Nokia 6300, SE C510, SE W595, Samsung Steel.
Not too bad, but given how easy that was I'm quite tempted to go down the PAC route to see what else they may throw at me!!0 -

I am due an upgrade what do you think I can get out of them, I have been with them for 4 years now.
I am currently on their Anytime 125 minutes + Vodafone Stop The Clock + 250 Texts (£17.02 a month ex vat i think)
I would like:- Stop the clock
- Minutes (can be reduced not that fussed)
- Text message (Same as above)
- Unlimited Internet would be nice!
- If I can haggle it reduce my monthly subscription (any suggestions on how far I can go?)
- A new phone not fussed what Samsung Ultra Edition looks good, Samsung jet or N97 (I would be willing to contribute some sort of payment for it if the price is right).

Called back today and am being told there's no way that I was offered this. I absolutely was and was VERY careful to make her repeat the full details of the deal and make sure it was noted on the account. No note was made and now they're going back on their offer.
On hold now talking to one of their managers... Grr.0 -
What a surprise voda going back on what is said and no notes on the system.0

Today I found myself in the last 70 days of my contract so I called Vodafone regarding an upgrade with the HTC Magic in mind.
The gentleman asked me what the best deal was that I'd seen. I told of Phones4U's offer of an £18 month contract with 600 mins and unlimited txts and internet all for £30 per month. He offered to match the deal. I asked if he could better the deal at all and was then offered 300 mins, unlimited texts and internet for £24.47 a month however the handset would cost me £61.17.
Here are the sums for total contact cost:
Offer 1 = 18 x 30 = £540.00
Offer 2 = 18 x 24.47 + 61.17 = £501.63
I decided to take him up on offer 2 as I'd save £38.37 over the 18 month contract. I'm very happy with the offer and it's being delivered tomorrow for £4.95. I'll have fourteen days to decide if I like the phone or not so I can always send it back and see out my existing contract. I was stuck with Vodafone as the HTC Magic is exclusive to Vodafone, they are unable to offer the phone on a 12 month deal (no suprises there as it worth over £400!).
Any one beaten this deal recently?0 -
Dan, just to make you aware the returns policy is 7 days from the day you recieve the phone, not 14.0
