Vodafone Retention Deals

I think as this is the last few days of the month most advisors have targets to reach so i think right time to take advantage
That makes sense, but I phoned on the 25th and didn't get the impression the advisor was desperate to keep my business, although he was polite and had answers to all my questions. He said the deal he was offering was only valid for 24 hours but I would be very surprised if it wasn't still on the table this time next week. I am beginning to think I should have asked for my PAC code!
I spoke to someone else before I went through to retentions and they said I would possibly be offered free internet, but I wasn't, even though I specifically asked if I could have it. I was told it would be an extra £5 per month. They also said that they couldn't waive the delivery fee.
Can you pick up your mobile from a shop to avoid the delivery fee I wonder?3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
Depends which way you see it.... The petrol, parking costs, your time involved.. all might go over the cost of delivery of the phone.0

true, but if I was going into town anyway.
When I got my last mobile I went to the shop (Virgin) to get it so that they could set it up for me as I am rubbish at doing that!3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

Delivery is free what are you talking about unless i missed something but the guy i spoke to told me its free delivery and if i want to return the phone that would be free of charge as well
Talk about different levels of service
Like I said go through sales rather than retentions and tell them you have been offered a Samsung Jet with 600 mins, unlimited msgs and internet for £20 and you want to take up that offer. Fingers crossed.0 -

not heard of that before. I think you normally have to have less than 70 days on your existing contract to go before you can upgrade your phone.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

was just looking to see what they were offering to brand new customers and noticed this statement
'Reasons to buy from Vodafone FREE delivery on all orders'
I asked what the delivery charge was and was told it was £4.95 and that it could not be waived! I am so incensed by this that I am going to ask for my PAC, even if I don't use it!3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
I would tell them to confirm it cannot be waived onto your account so it would have their details to go back to later.
They are usually reluctant or write something totally different0 -

Thats crap then sorry about the language.
Maybe an alternative way is to ask for the PAC code and transfer the number and then transfer back by being a new customer.
Thats so unfair!0
