You may get a better phone by not ordering online but then you forgo the £90 cash back so it depends whether the better phone is worth the £90~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

Success of sorts...
Was phoned again by Vodafone this evening.
After friendly haggling I agreed to;
FREE Nokia 5800
250 mins + Stop The Clock
200 texts
Unlimited Internet
12 month contract
£10 a month for first 9 months, then just under £25 for last 3, but I can choose to cancel unlimited internet and pay just £19.
New contract starts from midnight tonight. My existing contract had another 6+ weeks to run and was costing £25 a month per handset (I/we have 2 phones on the same contract) so I'm saving money straight away.
Received text confirming delivery for this Thursday.
Fingers crossed the new contract will arrive with the phones confirming the above deal, if they mess me around I'll leave.
We already have 2 nice HTC Kaiser handsets, so will probably sell the Nokias on eBay. There currently selling for around £140 - £160 each.

RE : Stop the clock (STC)
I think they've stopped offering it to new customers, however, if, like me, you're an existing customer who has it, they will roll over STC to your new contract.

Hi...
Well, my phones arrived on Thursday and I must say I am surprised at how good the Nokia 5800 is. It's operating systems new version of Symbian 60 5th edition software is really quick, and there are loads of free applications, widgets, games etc that you can get off the web.
I was going to sell them and keep my old HTC's, but the Nokia is so good I'm gonna sell my HTC's instead.
Thats the good news...
The bad news is that when I agreed to an upgrade I was promised a 12 month contract @ £10 a month (per handset) for the first 9 months, and then just under £25 a month for the last 3 months (per handset). I was also promised Stop The Clock, 250 mins + 100 texts, and unlimited internet for each of the 2 phones I have on contract.
I got all the above except stop the clock. I phoned Vodafone and they said they couldn't correct the error as my deal was so good they would end up losing money ? If we wanted stop the clock added to our contract we'de have to pay an extra £5 per month per handset ???
Incidentally, I/we have had stop the clock on our contract for donkeys years before this mess up - and now it seems we've lost it
I know I still have have an exceptionally good deal, but do I feel robbed that Vodafone promised me a new contract that included stop the clock but they haven't given it to me. Surely they are in breech of contract ?
I/we've been with Vodafone for 7 years.
When I said to the 2 people I spoke too (an operator and then her manager) that I was absolutely sure I was offered Stop The Clock and maybe they should listen to the recording that they keep of all there phone calls, I was told that if I wanted the call to be retrieved and listened to, Id have to pay Vodafone to do this - is this right ? - it sounds like BS to me, but what can I do !
I did post this on the forum section of the vodafone.co.uk website, but they censored my post and removed it as post's concerning contract disputes breaches there T&C's...
Your opinions are welcome,
Regards,
