  • Arms are still sore after being speared by the nurse on Sat morning.

Watched the Queens funeral procession. V moving. Brought up memories of my dear mum and had a cry on the phone with my sister. Went out for dinner with my 2-dogs friend. Chicken tikka masala and rice plus strawberry and lime cider £11.04

Tonight I have referred myself to therapy. Will speak to GP tomorrow

  • Had to giggle at 'speared', although a very accurate description! Hopefully a few more days and you'll have full use.

    Dinner sounds wonderful!

Hope you get an appointment soon and the GP is able to assist further.

  • Shopping at morresons £14.61. Dropped my friends birthday card off. I already had the card in the stash I bought from the birthday/xmas fund, I just forgot to post it. Saved the cost of a stamp and as it was on the way to morresons it didn’t cost extra petrol.

Returned home to find a cheque for compensation from virgin media £47. I was told it would be £50 direct into my bank.

Contacted them again on what’s app and they have still failed to add a £3 rolling credit to my vm account and they cannot cancel the cheque and repay £50 to my account. They say they have now added the credit of £3 and I have been told a further £10 compensation will be added to my vm account. Cashed the cheque via my banking app and I should be able to round it up with some of the remaining balance in my bank account, so I will have another £50 to add to my house moving account once the cheque clears. If it has not been sorted on next months bill I will contact them again and make another complaint and be asking for more compensation.

Would like a stress free day tomorrow!

  • Walked the dog in the rain this morning. Crumpets with butter and hot chocolate for breakfast 😋 I bought low fat Belgian hot choc from aldee £1.09. Tastes just as good as the more expensive brand.

The VM cheque has cleared into my account. £50 transferred into long term / house moving account now up to £6965.86 plus 3% account £1235.23 = £8201.09.  Fingers crossed the new pm announces a stamp duty break!

Remaining in my current account £34.83.

  • Had a child’s carvery and tub of b&j ice cream delivered last night £13.27. The child’s portion is big enough for an adult with beef, mash plus 5 roast potatoes, large yorkshire pud, veg & stuffing and gravy 😋

Have just had a nice dog walk in the sun. The grass is wet most mornings now with dew and we have had a grass frost already.

I am out with my no-dogs friend later today. Remaining in my bank account £21.61
