I was just walking the dog around 6.30pm when my friend with no-dogs rang asking if I wanted to go for a walk and get some dinner. Dropped the dog back home and we walked to the harvest-er. Had a lovely meal and used a buy one main meal get one free voucher. Cost £14.99 and free glasses of tap water with ice, so approx £7.50 each. Paid out of my entertainment fund.

It’s a nice cool morning. The dog has been out in the garden and I gave her breakfast & emptied and reloaded the dishwasher & made a cup of tea. Time for a snooze now till I walk her around 7 then I am in the office at 9.

The temperature is set to boil for the next few days 🥵 especially the weekend over 30 degrees. I am wfh on Friday. I will probably stay indoors over the weekend, apart from a very early dog walk
I will be trying to keep me and the dog cool.

I have no more plans for eating out this month. The entertainment fund has taken a battering already. It’s typical that 2 invites come at once!

Can your entertainment budget be increased after moving or do more things at home with friends?

Get the ice cubes on the go, drop them into a tub and get another lot freezing.

I will reset my budget once I have moved. Feeling a little low tonight but only a week now until my survey. Turned down a walk with my no-dog friend as I had just walked round the pond with the dog and feeling a bit tired. Flying ants everywhere too 😱

Have just been sat on the sofa with my feet up this evening.  I don’t start work until lunch time tomorrow but will get up early and walk the dog.

Have fed the dog and am back in bed with a cup of tea. Feeling rough today, tired, headache, snuffly nose and aching chest. Have done a covid test & it’s negative so maybe just a summer cold. Will walk the dog around 7am to try and avoid the heat. I start work at lunchtime at home. I think I will order an online shop this morning to rest up a bit.

    Thanks SW ☺️

Have walked the dog. Already warm so after she had a bit of a run around after her ball we had a plod round the pond under the trees and sat on a bench for a while in the shade.

I have ordered food for delivery. Cereal, milk, cold meats, salad stuff, rice, Pepsi max, chicken breast fillets, ice creams, lots of fruit total £38.25 but delivery is more expensive now so I am going to have to drive to the supermarket in future.

I have to take puppy dog to the vet this morning so it would be too much rushing around to fit a shop in too before work. She is just having a regular treatment (which will remain unmentioned) but is included in the vet plan DS pays for.

Bad news, my house purchase has fallen through 😭

My survey is cancelled and I should get a refund of £600 minus £50 admin fee. The surveyor will ask the director if they will waive the fee but I don’t hold out much hope on that. The solicitor fees will be covered by the insurance policy I took out with them. I will lose the searches money £300.

I was ill all day yesterday with D & S 🤮 and feeling dizzy. Spent most of the day when not in the bathroom in bed. Feeling a bit better today and am just about to try and walk the dog. Didn’t eat anything yesterday. I have bagged up the chicken breasts I bought and put them in individually portions in the freezer as they were going out of date.

I now have to start looking for a new property to buy. There are very few in my price range. My sale is proceeding so I will be a cash buyer so just hope more comes onto the market. I will have to stay with DS & his gf until I find somewhere
