Not totally alone but sat too far away to talk to anyone.
Did very little yesterday. Walked the dog twice. Watched tv. Sorted out 2 cupboards of dvd’s. I still have video of DS when he was young and must look into getting that moved onto memory card or something
Microwave is out of action. A bit piece of “paint” has come loose inside. Apparently this is a known problem with modern microwaves & rust. I have ordered a new combi microwave/ fan oven / grill. The combi ones are all stainless steel inside & not painted. £110 plus next day delivery £3.95. Should be here tomorrow from ar gos. I will be taking it with me when I move.

Shame they don't combine the space to avoid this happening.
Sounds interesting and one less thing to buy soon.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Cancelled the silver microwave at £110 and reordered the black one exactly the same at £90. Price down from £113.95 to £92.95 and still arriving tomorrow
Have been out with my no-dogs friend to a car boot sale where our 2-dogs friend had a table. Had a wander round and bought 2 eggs cups and some table mats £3. Paid for parking £3.20. Had a lovely walk and lunch by the beach £9.80. Free glass of tap water with ice and a slice 😁
Popped into mr T on the way back so my friend could get her shopping and I dropped her off on the way home. I bought strawberries and lime cider 4 cans and box of 4 ice creams £6.20 minus club card savings and used £1.50 voucher reduced to £3.70. 🤗0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Bargain on the microwave, and sounds like you had a lovely day. Shame about being isolated at work, but not a lot you can do about it. (((hugs))) XX

I had a lovely day on Sunday but I did use some of this weeks petrol. I have transferred £20 out of savings to put in the car.New microwave arrived today. Have set it up & will probably just use as a microwave until I move. Then I will probably use the grill / convection oven more.Tomorrow I am in the office. Hopefully some colleagues will be in. After work I need to get a birthday card and get flea and worming treatment from the vets. Have packed up my equipment and food is ready in the fridge. I just need to sort some clothes.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Busy day at the office today with 2 other people in 😆 Time passed much quicker.Picked up flea & wormer for the dog on my way home which DS pays for on the vet plan. Got a birthday card £1.40 and already have stamps so that is ready to post in the morning on my way to work.Big legal pack arrived today so I have started plowing through that. Searches picked up a few things so I have looked at the website links provided and emailed the council about one item. Hopeful nothing to worry about.Water searches show the rateable value and state this will change to metered. I need to phone the water company to see how / when to arrange installation. It makes sense to get a water meter fitted after completion when it’s just me.I have to insure the new house on exchange so I need to speak to my insurer once I have more details & an exchange date. Hopefully it will be cheaper than the current house. I didn’t realise it was from exchange, just assumed it was from completion. Seller has stated he doesn’t know who is responsible for the left & right property boundaries so I’m not sure how I go about finding that out.Still waiting for the survey to be done.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

If the boundary fence owners are not mentioned in the title deeds, they're shared responsibility with its attached neighbour.
Do a comparison site Search, that way you know what kind of cost to expect. It's not always cheaper to transfer existing insurance over.
I hope the council enquiry was to do with the surrounding area and not your new house as the latter prevents you getting the seller to buy an indemnity policy. Your solicitor should provide a full breakdown of everything prior to exchange, unless they already did when sending the pack; slow down unless you've got it!
Water meter you'll arrange after moving, they've been transferring them for several years (gov implemented initiative).
Glad the work day went faster.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
I managed to request a water meter on my provider's website very easily once I was set up at that address, although I did have to wait around 3 months for installation. Well worth the cost savings1

I can only sympathise with the WFH. I do wish employers were more enlightened. We were all 'ordered' back into the office full time a couple of months ago with the comment WFH was a gift and not a right!! So this week I had a dentist appointment at 2pm , didn't go back to the office and took rest of afternoon off. If I had been allowed to WFH, they would have got more work out of me.
