  • Walked the dog, bacon roll for breakfast, then worked from home. Blinding headache again today. Phone eye casualty and spoke to the nurse who confirmed it’s the monitor use & while they don’t recommend it they can understand my need to work & it won’t make my eyesight worse.

Had a snooze after work, then took the dog out for a walk in the sun. Blustery cold wind but nice to get some fresh air. Puppy dog enjoyed running around after her ball. Home & warming cup of tea then DS came home and took the dog out with her ball again! Now she’s flaked out snoring 😆

Hope you're headache's easing. Sounds like puppydog had lots of fun!
  • Can you have little breaks away from your PC or are keystrokes and saved works monitored.

  • Thanks atrixa. I am having breaks MF, but they are not helping. The only time I feel ok is after sleep. Even resting in the dark with a blanket over my head to cut out all light is not helping. I suppose during sleep my brain / eyes rest. 😵‍💫 🤯

Felt so fed up tonight I had a kfc delivered. 😋 Paid from money left in my account from no council tax this month. Also used some of the money to cover the beers yesterday. There won’t be anything extra left to save at this rate 🤦‍♀️

  • It's not as if you have spendy months all the time, a mid-winter jolly is fine after everything you've gone through.

Shopping arrived with a few items missing and no suitable substitutes. No peach squash, no baking potatoes, no tinned peaches, no pasta bake sauce, no tikka sauce. Total shop reduced from £36.26 to £31.11.   I may need to get more squash, milk & fruit during the week. Next big shop is next Friday.

I am meeting friends for lunch at the pub tomorrow. This one is a bit further away so I may get a taxi so I can have a drink. 😁

  • The weather hasn't helped places get deliveries.
    Enjoy your drink today 😀

  • Drinks were cancelled as friend was too tired 😞

Arranged to go out Monday after work instead but I will have to drive & so will stick to soft drinks. Will still be nice to see my friend and catch up.

Walked the dog this morning it was sunny and mild. Heating has been off until this evening. Frost forecast for tonight.

Had beef stew for lunch with bread and butter. Dinner was chicken wrap & fries. Have done very little today. Unloaded the dishwasher. Washed the extractor fan grill in the dishwasher & then loaded next lot of dishes. Watched tv & snoozed. Started watching Clarice on demand. Walked the dog with DS’s gf before sunset. It  was still light at 6pm 😁

I must do more tomorrow (today!) I’ve done too much snoozing and am now wide awake 🙄  Hopefully I will get a few things done off my list after walking the dog. Just one or two things a day may be all I can manage.

    - wash patio
    - cut grass
    - descale kettle
    - clean shower tiles & screen over bath
    - mop bathroom floor
    - hoover
    - clean glass patio doors in kitchen
    - buy light bulbs, will see if b & m have the ones shown online
    - wash fur throws & hang out to dry
    - wash jeans & jumpers & hang out to dry

I will try & catch up with everyone’s diaries tomorrow

  • Sorry to hear the drinks were cancelled.

You did get a lot done. Is there any way DS and GF can do some of the tasks as the patio is being cleaned due to PD and I assume you all share a bathroom.

Hope you managed to get some sleep this morning.
