Lots of signs of spring out there this morning but it’s rather fresh 🥶
Friend is going to pick me up at 1pm and we are off to the range. I want to buy a new mop for the kitchen and bathroom floor as the old one is falling apart. Hopefully I won’t get carried away and buy anything else!0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Only buy things which will be of use for your new home, for now try and get by unless like your mop things are well past their use.
Rest up this weekend and try to work out what else affects your eyes, the next few months will fly by as you adjust.

Had a lovely few hours out with my friend yesterday. We had a wander round upstairs in the range, which has very narrow aisles and very bright overhead lighting and after a while I felt quite dizzy. So we went in the (cost a) cafe which was softer ambient lighting and had a sit down. I got a pot of tea for one and a huge fruit scone with clotted cream and a little pot of jam £4. My friend had a hot chocolate so total spend £6.85 and we shared the scone 😋
After a rest I felt ok again so we went downstairs and I got a new mop and various cleaning bits £11.78. Then we went to b&m and I bought Pepsi max cans £3 on offer and a huge pot of hot chocolate - options Belgian choc - £3.99
Back home and loaded boxes & tortoises into friends car. Then I walked the dog & fed her. Spent the evening relaxing. 😊
Today I am going to walk the dog shortly. It’s forecast to rain all day from about 10am. I am defrosting some chicken breasts from the freezer to make a chicken stew in the slow cooker and use up the leftover parsnips & carrots. I also have a bag of frozen dumplings I bought a few weeks ago so I will pop them in the stew towards the end of cooking time.Today I am having liver and onions, there should be enough for leftovers to go in the freezer. I will make a big pan of mash with the leftover potatoes, have some with the liver & freeze the rest in portions and I will have some of the broccoli and cauli from
the freezer.Hopefully I will have enough food to last until Friday when I will food shop in the morning before my late shift. I will do an inventory later0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Would tinted glasses take the edge off some of the lights?
Lunch treat sounded yummy.

Thanks MF I have just lost my mojo. Struggling with eyes using desktop monitors all day and no activity on the house buying/ broker is starting to annoy me
Moved £250 to long term savings account. Already sent £50 to 3% account. Total savings £300. DS’s bills money came into my account yesterday & his gf money should come in today. All the direct debits have been paid and it’s council tax & larger water bill free month. That should leave me with £189. I need to get a few bits of shopping on Friday and what is left will go into savings.Lots of wildlife activity on the pond over the last few days. Saw a tiny wren flitting around and the swans are looking to nest. The male swan makes the most haunting sound when he flaps his wings at the geese and chases them off across the pond0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I can imagine, it's very frustrating as you'd think they would be keen to get the ball rolling.
