The drive was ok yesterday. Arrived safely. Petrol was £41 to fill up.
Here I am awake at usual time but no dog to sort & feed. Just moving around to ease my back & neck pain and now have a cup of tea and back to bed. This morning I am meeting an old school friend for a cuppa and a chat. She had covid 20 days ago and is now testing negative. Then I will wrap the rest of the presents for my sister & her family (they had covid last month & now testing negative) ready to go on Christmas Eve. Older niece (other sisters daughter) and her partner are planning on coming over to DF’s for dinner on Thursday as long as we all test negative. Hope Boris doesn’t spoil things!DF has his Christmas tree up 🎄😆0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Depends whether B wants the average person to suddenly appear at his, it would be too risky this time for him to do it.
Enjoy your catch up 😊Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -

Thanks lw2go I have had a lovely Christmas just relaxing with family. A few gifts given and received but mainly just chilled, helped prep food and enjoyed good company. Lovely Christmas dinner, played a few board games, cold meat & cheese & pickles on Boxing Day. We managed a nice walk on Christmas Day morning when it was sunny but cold, unfortunately Boxing Day was rain all day.Today I am heading back to DF’s we are calling off to see my aunt & uncle on the way. Then I am heading home the following morning. The Christmas fund is emptied but covered all gifts & cards.Generous gift from DF will be banked after I get home and will top back up the emergency fund plus cover the cost of the cordless shark I bought before Christmas (much reduced). I need to return a cardi to asda for a refund. I bought it pre Christmas & have not worn it & as it’s a Christmassy cardi I will not get any wear out of it over the rest of the year.I have been invited out for New Year’s Eve but will see what Boris announces before then & if I feel like going. I’m usually in bed before midnight 😴😆0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Arrived back at DF’s late afternoon and feeling cold and exhausted. Have decided to delay the drive home by 24 hours so I don’t have to rush about in the morning. There is no one at home so no rush to get back.I will sort the car tomorrow ready for the drive, check tyres, water, oil, top up with petrol and may go to nearest small town to pay in Christmas money at the bank & pick up some note pads in £land which will save me going into town when I get home.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Have had a lie in this morning. 😊 The forecast is for a wet morning but a mild dry day later, so we are hoping to go for a walk later. I’ve remembered it’s a bank holiday today so I will not be going to the bank. That can wait until I get home.We have lots of leftover roasted butternut squash in the freezer from when niece and her partner came for dinner before Christmas, so I am going to turn it into soup for lunch today. DF got me a stick blender for Christmas so it should be much quicker and easier to make soup.🤗0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
