It was only a walk across the car park for a few minutes away from my desk. I never thought about grabbing my coat as I wasn't going to be out long. I do have woolly tights, thick socks and boots on. Oddly enough in the office I have a woolly shawl over my legs 🤭

  • I am nesh 😆 I have turned into a southern softy 🥶 MF you northerners are made of stronger stuff. Lol at SW’s woolly knickers 😂

DS’s gf took the dog to the forest yesterday so I only walked her in the morning & rested after work.

I am on a late start today so I will take the dog for a bit longer walk later this morning. I am being picked up in a taxi at 7pm for our “girls night out” so I will have just under an hour to get ready. I will be wearing a mask 😷 and my LF test last night was negative

  • Had to quickly adapt, although I'm not wearing shorts in winter, maybe that's a few more years under my belt!

An hour is plenty, have a lovely time 😊

  • Just back from dog walking it’s a bright crisp morning cold enough to see my breath 🥶Bumped into one of the girls from last night out walking her dogs so we walked and chatted.

Had a good night last night and food was nice, not worth the money, but I suppose you pay a premium at these restaurants for the “Christmas” menu. It was good to catch up with friends and have a chat and a few laughs.

  • Thanks SW. No one from work just a group of friends some of their kids went to school with my DS.

Have taken the dog to the vet for a regular treatment she has. Covered by vet plan that DS pays for. Then went through McDonald’s drive through and got a burger meal for lunch. Just resting this afternoon

  • That's not a bad price for a Christmas meal and having a good catch up.

    Enjoy your rest!

  • It’s milder this morning. Puppy dog has been out in the garden and had her breakfast. I will walk her later this morning.

This afternoon I am walking to the shops with my (non house moving / non dog owning) friend. I have a list of gifts to get from b&m boots and m & s. We will probably have a cuppa in mcD before walking home again.
