Hope it's easy to replace.
I can only think of the more expensive department stores for your garden shade.

Oh dear about oven. It's great that you had the money to pay it off. Good luck with shade for the garden, I hope something suitable will turn up. Is it worth asking the neighbours what they have tried and where from?Aiming for a minimal spend 20221

I’ve had the oven since 2003 & changed the element before. At least it’s only £17 to fix & change a light bulb. It’s not difficult to change just hard for me to get on my knees & stick my head in the oven 😆 I will use my garden kneeling cushion once the parts arrive. The electric will be turned off, safety first!Spendy day today. Aldi after dog walk £33.47. B&M £16.15 and bought a parasol 2.7m & heavy duty granite base 30kg from the range online with home delivery £73.93. The neighbours don’t have an extension so they don’t have the same problem.
Have cut the grass & put the clippings into next doors green bin for free 🙂 it’s lovely having nice neighbours. If I keep it short enough I shouldn’t need to collect the clippings again & just trim it with my lightweight hover mower. 23 degrees forecast tomorrow ☀️ 😃0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Fantastic news on mowing. Well done on parasol and for doing the grass. I hope you enjoyed the weather I had to draw the curtains as it was too bright in my lesson!Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

At least you know how to do it, nothing worse than scrabbling around working it out.
Spends sound good and very beneficial. What colour parasol did you go for?Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
There are some good “how to” on u tube & on the spare parts website I use, which helps. They are a great resource if anything breaks down. The new parasol is green to match my existing green patio table. It was one of the few green ones on sale but I wanted a dark colour to block the sun / heat from the patio doors so we can still see out but stop the kitchen from getting so hot for the dog. 😁 🐶 I’m still not convinced it’s the right size but will have to wait & see. The parasol itself was £28 for a 2.7m but I had to buy a stronger base to let it stand on its own without the table. My old parasol was broken and went to the tip & I can’t remember the size of it. I didn’t expect to be buying another for this house.
I will walk the dog soon then I may just take it easy & sit in the garden with a book if it’s going to be as hot as they have forecast. I will keep the kitchen curtains closed to keep it a bit cooler as we have no parasolI will transfer money from my household funds account once my credit card bill is online after 3 April. This will cover the parasol & base and the cooker parts. I save £100 a month into that account to pay for annual insurances car & house, clothes (about £100 a year), car tax, breakdown cover & haircuts. Not had many haircuts in last 12 months 😆 and cancelled the green bin so there is a surplus in the account that will cover my purchases.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Had a lovely dog walk this morning it was so warm I had to take my coat off 🥵 The dog really enjoyed herself running around in the long grass & bushes then we walked back in the shade & had a sit on a bench under a tree round the pond.I’ve washed down the patio & the hallway radiator so it can dry ready for painting this afternoon. DS will be going to work shortly & his gf went early this morning. I will put up the dog pen to stop her getting near it. The radiator paint is touch dry in 30 minutes so it should be dry enough when everyone gets home after at least a few hours.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

That's a really good price and nice colour to keep it cooler.

One coat of paint on the radiator & spent the rest of the afternoon sitting in the garden reading 🙂
