  • DS will get your shower going. I'm assuming it's an electric one? If so, a new one isn't too expensive and they are quick to swap over.

Wondered where our fog went yesterday!

DS replaced the shower then dropped his adjustable spanner in the bath and chipped the enamel 😫

Finally payday yesterday and now 1st December. November seemed never ending. I have a huge credit card bill to pay which was expected & I have the money to pay it, but it’s scary looking at the figures online! Will pay it off as soon as the bill is produced, usually around the 3rd of the month.  Will post DF’s cheque to the bank when I walk the dog later this morning.

Estate agent is coming Friday afternoon to do a valuation.

    Jobs for today
    - Walk the dog
    - get a load of washing done & hung out to dry
    - work till 3pm
    - put shoes away from bedroom floor into bottom of wardrobe
    - empty dining room & lift carpet
    - scrub kitchen wall tiles

  • The enamel can get fixed! Look for an enamel bath repair kit, it's under £30 for the filler, paint and everything needed is included.

Friday will be exciting, you can then move on to the next stage 🤗

Tasks look like a good mix. Hopefully you've got help with moving things!

  • I have daubed a bit of radiator paint on the bath with a tiny watercolour painting brush  😆 it looks ok. I will apply another coat tomorrow & see how it looks after everyone has had a shower over the next few days. The new owners will probably rip the bath out anyway.

I have phoned my car insurer as the last 12 months mileage was just over 2000 miles. My mileage is fairly low, I usually do just under 4000. I am getting a refund of £10.08.

I have not been able to find the same cover any cheaper. I have left my mileage at 4000 for the renewal, forever hopeful that we will all get the vaccine next year and I will be able to travel up north and visit family again. 😆 They gave me a further reduction of £4.48 so one quick phone call & saved total £14.56. Renewal price is £213.92 (with over 9 years no claims protected & motor legal expenses & guaranteed hire car)

At least you've opted for the right colour, in the last rental they put magnolia on 😂

That's a good price for insurance and one less task to deal with 🤗

  • Had a lovely visit to my long term hairdresser after work. Had all my wispy dry scarecrow hair chopped off and a warming chocolate brown put through the bottle blonde 😁 Looks lovely and much softer now. Had a good chat & relaxed for a couple of hours. £44 paid online from household bills.

Tomorrow I have to visit mat Alan to take back a few items I ordered before the latest lockdown. Then it’s the last few jobs before the estate agent visit on Friday.
