The room sounds lovely, Skinty. I'm always amazed at how expensive lightbulbs are. I'm going to end up spending loads on halogen bulbs in my new house.2

Finance looks good, as do the savings pots.
You've definitely got your shopping trip back to how it was and the meals sound yummy 😃Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Thanks Babs. Savings so far since paying off my debt in January = £2400 split across 2 accounts including the 3% interest account. As I can only put £50 a month in the 3% account I need to start looking for a better interest rate for the rest. For the rest of the year I still plan to save from paydays end of oct/nov/dec 3 x £300 total target £3300. Next years target 12 x £300 = £3600. That would give me a total of £6900. Then I need to start looking at downsizing.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Have you got their other account, where it's a minimum of £50pm? I know 0.75% isn't the greatest, but much better than their ISA 😬
I will message you details of my other bank as they have some better accounts.
Very exciting times with downsizing in the future 🤗Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Had another fall yesterday the long grass on the field was covering a small hole and just my luck to stick my foot in it and twist my ankle. 😕 I swore like a trouper whilst down on my hands and knees, managed to get up and hobble home. Sat on and off for most of the day with a bag of frozen peas on it!Today I am still hobbling but can weight bear on it, just can’t walk. Will be resting all weekend.Amazon have offered me another free 30 day trial of prime, so I used it to order some items for DF which he wanted & they will be delivered to him. I’ve also ordered a food shop coming tonight for next week so that should last me until payday & no need to go shopping during half term ☺️Next week will be mince beef & veg chilli, Chicken Thai green curry & chicken & peppers in black bean sauce. Total cost £19.23.My long term savings are gaining 0.75% interest. I don’t think there is much better out there with instant access so will leave that where it is for now0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Ouch! Oh Skinty, I feel your pain, something I always do to myself so easily - especially when you have an over-enthusiastic pooch dragging you.

Oh no, you've only just got over the last injury. I hope you do rest and don't try and sneak little tasks in like you normally do.
Well done on taking the free trial, that's nicely timed.
Food sounds great, just what you need now the weather is becoming a little questionable.
That's not a bad interest rate but if you do want something a little better, look at the other place as the new regular saver is out at 1% fixed, matures in just over a year. It's instant access too (all of my accounts are, just in case).Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1
