Just back from walking and drying the dog. The rain is so hard it was hurting my face (the only part exposed to the weather!) and I could hardly see out of my glasses 😆 The dog enjoyed herself running after her ball & didn’t care about the rain 🐶
It was a large chicken so I have 4 more bags of leftovers in the freezer. I know some people on here who can stretch a “rubber” roast chicken to over 10 meals but I’m quite happy with 6 meals just for me 😋 £3.94 from asda included in my £10.59 shop, could probably have got cheaper at Aldi but asda had shopping delivery free on Uber & I didn’t feel well enough to go to aldi0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Hope you're feeling better soon, fingers crossed it sounds like you're on the mend! 6 meals sounds great, I can never manage beyond a roast dinner and then soup the day after.2

Wow to the planning, despite feeling poorly, you have definitely got this. I am always so inspired and impressed at what you do, and your determination to bounce back, thank you...."...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."

Thank you all. Since my lovely mum died I vowed to try achieve something every day, even if its just getting out of bed. Some days are a struggle but some days are good. I've just worked out my budget for October. I am still saving £300 a month but it is now spread over my regular saver £250 and my 3% account £50.Statement of Affairs and Personal Balance SheetHousehold InformationNumber of adults in household........... 1Number of children in household.........Number of cars owned.................... 1Monthly Income DetailsMonthly income after tax.....1150.86Partners monthly income after tax....... 0Benefits................................ 0Other income............................ 190 bills money from DS & his gfTotal monthly income.................... 1340.86Monthly Expense DetailsMortgage................................ 219.9Council tax............................. 154Gas & electric £80Water rates......... 40.52Mobile phone................8.75TV Licence........ 13.2Satellite/Cable TV/bb/phone ... 53.5Groceries £120Petrol/diesel........ 40Car maintenance (including MOT)... 50Presents (birthday, christmas etc)..... 50Entertainment...... 50long term savings...............250union fees........ 8.66household bills.................... 100dog food..................... 15savings............. 50Total monthly expenses.................. 1303.53Secured & HP DebtsDescription....................Debt......Monthly...APRMortgage...................... 0........(219.9)....0Total secured & HP debts...... 0.........-.........- Unsecured DebtsDescription.............Debt......Monthly...APRcredit card..............29.15.....29.15.....0Total unsecured debts..........29.15.....29.15.....- Monthly Budget SummaryTotal monthly income.................... 1,340.86Expenses (including HP & secured debts). 1,303.53Available for debt repayments........... 37.33Monthly UNsecured debt repayments....... 29.15Amount left after debt repayments....... 8.18Created using the SOA calculator at www.LemonFool.co.uk.Reproduced on Moneysavingexpert with permission, using other browser.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

My goodness - I have a lot to learn from you and the other folk here. I am sure your mum would be so pleased and proud of you, you are totally organised
... And I know what you mean about struggle days, sure I saw on the forums somewhere a phrase (yet another one!) 'Fall down 7 times, get up 8' which keeps running through my thoughts.

I’m hoping to see some friends this month & have budgeted £40 for petrol in the hope that I will get to meet DF halfway up the m1 if we get a decent dry day for a socially distanced meeting at the services 😊 He wants to sit outside & is still not comfortable going inside anywhere. On the news last night it was saying those in his age group are less likely to survive Covid. (wonder how Trump will get on)
DS has just come in from work & gone to bed. The dog has been fed & I will walk her later this morning.I was planning on going to town with a friend today to get some waterproof spray for my dog walking shoes & new slippers as the sole of my old ones has disintegrated in the washing machine. However the forecast is for gales and torrential rain and I still don’t feel 100% so will give it a miss. Don’t want to pass this lurgy on to my friend.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

It's not a nice day to go out in when ill, order some slipper socks as back up emergency slippers. I've some lined ones and they are so comfy round the 'house'.
Meals sound great, as usual 😊Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Skinty i was feeling the same, it's the darkness and the rain. Putting Henry the tree up plus his camp lights has really helped. Hang in there it will get better and by then this Covid malarkey will be a distant dream. Keep your chin up girl we can do this. You are doing so well. By the summer i hope things will be nearly normal. I do hope so. I think if you see your father it will really help. Keeping fingers and toes crossed for you.Aiming for a minimal spend 20223
