Have lost my moneysaving mojo since Sunday. Have had a couple of takeaways with 25% off. Took the money from savings. Feeling really grotty and under the weather. 🙁
Puppy dog came home Monday & I walked her across the road onto the field yesterday morning where she ran around after her ball. Nothing too energetic for me. Started work early with the intention of going shopping at 2.30pm but couldn’t be bothered. Instead I took the dog for a gentle stroll around the pond. It was a lovely warm sunny autumn day with a gentle breeze. So, for the rest of the week it has forecast rain and cold. Payday today but I am struggling to feel excited about it. Will get some more sleep now & see if I feel better later.I wonder if I can get away without shopping this week or get an online top up shop.Food still in stores/fridge/freezer

It's normal when ill, main thing is getting food/ drink into yourself wherever it comes from.
Have a virtual hug.
You could do:
Veg curry / chilli with rice.
Pasta, cheese and bacon.
Tuna and spuds.
Cereal / toast for breakfast.
I'm sure after some rest, your meal planning head with start to have a few ideas. Nothing too elaborate as you won't want to faff around cooking it.
Hope you feel better soon.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Thank you. It was warm & sunny & windy this morning. Took the dog to the park with her ball so not much walking for me. Washed & hung out dog towels & started work at 9am.It has steadily got colder as the day has gone on. The sky went black at 11am so I brought dog towels in to finish drying on airers. I’ve got a jumper on & am wrapped in a furry throw and have had lots of warm drinks & chicken cuppa soup. Nothing beats chicken soup if you feel poorly 😊 Have taken leave for a couple of hours & finished work early.Ordered food from Asda on the Uber eats app with free delivery offer. Large chicken, pack 7 bananas, milk, biscuits (oops!), wraps & whole cucumber £10.59
Meal plan
Breakfast -Some meals will be quick & easy but tonight I really fancy roast chicken 😋 The chicken pretty much cooks itself. I have frozen roast potatoes. I just need to peel & chop carrots & swede and boil & mash and cook cabbage. I think I will cook swede & carrots shortly. Then I can rest before cooking dinner, warm up a portion of swede & carrot for dinner & freeze the rest.Porridge & bananaWeetbix & bananaBacon sarnie

That's some meal planning bounce back 😁
Biscuits are for medical reasons 😉
Scrub the root veg, then slice and dice, less effort and retains a bit more goodness.
Dinner sounds wonderful!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Roast chicken dinner was yum. Had to peel the swede as the skin is thick & hard. I made some stock from the meat juices and veg water & turned it into veg soup yesterday. Last night I used one portion of leftover chicken to make a chicken curry with microwave rice & frozen peas. It’s very dark & stormy outside. Feeling a bit better this morning. DS got in from work at 3.30am I managed to doze back off until 5am then got up & fed the dog before going back to bed with a cup of tea. Have managed to snooze a bit more & just about to get up, put on waterproofs & walk the dog.Must sort out my budget and banking later today after work. First payment should have gone into new 3% interest savings account. Haven’t even felt well enough to check. Hopefully I have been paid!0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Three meals from one is fantastic.
I'm pleased you are a little better, hopefully you will be fully recovered over the next few days.
I made 1p interest on that account and have so far put full payments in last month and this month. They are also calling customers to offer a financial health check via video conference, to help people reach their goals and plan for them.
