According to one set of t&c; but not another! If people are sensible their shenanigans with misleading and conflicting t&c will work against them. No doubt many have fallen by the wayside by actually believing the rubbish they get told though!
  • MJ is right the example in that set of t&c is totally wrong (maybe intendedly to be that way).

I haven't had time to put all documents together to mail them. But I emailed them via their online support, here is their answer:
Thank you for your E-mail to our Customer Support Team.

As every deal is different you need to follow the instruction that were posted/emailed too you. Plus please use the new Loughborough address to post your claims too.

I hope that the information is useful, however should you have any further queries regarding this email please do not hesitate to contact us again either by email or telephone.

You may find that visiting our website www.mycashbackclaim.co.uk can answer most common questions about cashbacks including when and how to claim.

    Kind regards
Now according to them I'll have 30 days claims window and they only accept bill not older then 28 days.

I think there is way to comply with both set of t&c, with the given example, simply send both Sept and Oct bills as soon as the Oct bill arrives.

But I'm not sure as if sending more than one bill will be considered as breach of t&c.

MJ, can an email like this be accepted as evident at court if something goes wrong or a written document will be needed ?

About canceling, my friend contract, the deal is with e2save O2 so probably is cpw-O2. I've searched through the forum, but still unable to find the address to write to, Can you be kind enough to tell me the address or the relevant thread that you mentioned?

Seems they can't even spell "to"! Not surprising that their grammar is appaling then! Still, you got a reply- not many do!

She IS on cpw O2. The address to write to is:-

    Disconnections,
    Ref. 1006,
    PO Box 345,
    Unit 19,
    Southampton, SO30 2NR.

Their email is a general response - I wouldn't take much notice of it. The t&c to follow are the ones you signed up to at the time - not the unclear concoction in their emails, which has always been completely wrong more often than not. I won't send both bills together. I haven't decided on my strategy precisely for this one yet - but will make sure I'm in a position to sue as always.
  • Thanks for the address, you are helpful as always.

Basically, the differences between the 2 sets of t&c are how much time one has to claim and how old the bill can be. But the bills have to be sent are still the same i.e. after 6,8,10,12 months after connections. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    Say for example.
    Connection date 15 Apr
    1st bill dated 16Apr.
Then the bills need to be sent are Oct, Dec, Feb, Apr bills for 6, 8, 10, 12 months claims respectively.

So sending the bills as soon as they arrive, there should be no problem.

As for sending the early bill, Sept, I've seen lot of people lost all of their cashback because of it. Will this rule be applied in this case ?

btw, please let me know when you have a precise strategy for this one :T

There are more than 2 sets of t&c in operation. No-one need have accepted loss of ANY claims due to sending early - regardless of what E2Save and friends might try to persuade them of!

Since I give preference to my own contracts and those of the people I order for I do not always divulge all my secrets - otherwise I could be damaging my/our own interests. People (for example) posting phone and email email details on the threads are doing no-one a good turn; the companies merely stop using them when they become widely known! I have, however, given a great deal of help to a large number of people - before, when and after they got themselves into trouble. I think that's more than fair!
  • yeps, total agree with you on that, I think general help is good enough .For me I found them extremely useful. We are all grateful for all time and effort that many members putting into this to help newbies like myself.
  • Thanks to MJ an' all for helpful info on here.
I'm about to make our first cashback claim with e2Save..

Trying to figure out what the 'Transaction Number' on their cashback voucher should be..
My T&C's state: 'It is your responsibility to:
    a) Record the order reference number that we give you at point of purchase'

The printed receipt from them has a 9-digit Invoice Number, a 9-digit Transaction Number and a 8-digit Customer Number.

The printed 'Your Offer Explained' sheet has a 8-digit Delivery Number

Then the email they sent me at point of purchase with subject 'IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Your Cheque Back Offer ID XXXXXXX' has an 8-digit '
    Unique Order Reference Number'

!!!!!!!!... Of course all these numbers are completely different!

Help - which one do I use...

    The transaction number of course!
  • Triffic!! Thanks for that!
    The transaction number of course!
  • Sorry if I am asking an old question but I just want to be sure.
I have to send my cashback claim to e2save 240 days from the date I bought my phone
It was purchased on September 12th 2007, and adding 240 days brings that to May 9th.
The date of my current bill was April 21st and the next one is due on May 21st. Which of those bills actually covers May 9th and therefore is the one that I have to submit - my current one in advance or the May 21st one in arrears?
Also, I now only receive my bill vie e-mail, is this likely to cause any problems?
Incidentally, (and again forgive me if you all know this) there is a handy little page on the internet that allows you to add days to any date to get a new date. It's at http://www.timeanddate.com/date/dateadd.html
    Thanks for any help.
    Lynne
