Spend day today, £10.07 on lambshanks at the butchers. This takes me over this months planned budget by £6.51. Shouldn't have to get anything else before the end of the month, so not too bad.
Mortgage meeting was good, it looks like we should be able to raise enough to make a decent offer, pending the Mortgage in Princible that the adviser is going to sort out tomorrow. Then we shall put an offer in. Trying not too get too excited, but it's looking good.
Today I am grateful for
1) Mortgage advisers letting us bring in Duncan, he would have been left on his own for way too long else.
2) Duncan being good in the advisers office. Was fully expecting a poop or something, he fell asleep.
3) My trainee seemed to actually pay attention to what I was telling her today, unlike my last trainee.

Evening Turtles!
NSD 8/15. Both yesterday and today were NSDs.
All today's food from stores, and tomorrow's are all accounted for as well.
Grateful for the beautiful sunrise this morning, the sun was huge and crazy orange over the misty park.
That I remembered to get more spray de-icer last week so didn't have to scrape the car. Can't find my gloves (by that I mean one of the boys have nicked them) so it would have been cold hands.
40 minutes of hamster snooker this morning. Both hamsters were tap dancing at the cage doors when I got up, so I offered them their zorb balls, and they both climbed in happily, and raced about the place pinging off each other and the sofas, and the walls, and the doors. Funny little things.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Evening everyone!
Today I am grateful for:
I) Shared experiences... The topic of 'forgiveness' seems maybe to be a part of the Human experience... thanks Greent, Mothernerd and Fmess for sharing and for the helpful advice!!! I'm going to take that on board.
ii) For people recognising my worth even when I don't
iii) For having courage to believe I 'can do'
Today = NSD number 14
So today was a challenge at work - having to take on new things that only 6 months ago would have totally freaked me out. I sort of had a moment of clarity that, yes - I can do this. Tomorrow the World muhahaha!!!
The advice from here (see above) on forgiveness was really helpful - so thank you again. I also went online after and found a few good articles... I think if I have an open mind/heart and a willingness to want to move through it - it will happen. Maybe not today or next week... but it will happen. I like the Jar idea - not burying - but re-visiting... I think I can work with that. Seeing it as a process makes sense to - like the stages of grief... All great stuff. Hugs xxx
Ok - I digress! Bad Abundant - back to the money saving!!! I had done a couple of batch cooks which have been demolished already, and will do some more tomorrow. Will make a concerted effort to eat more salad and use my veg in the next few days too!⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

No Spend days - Claiming day 14/15 - need to buy bird feed for a school project but going to hopefully get that on Thursday now as I want tomorrow to be 15/15!
January's rules:
Food - Continued eating out of freezer & stores, using up bits and pieces we wouldn't bother buying again. Must admit though that the jar of pickled onions in the sauce for the meatballs tonight wasn't Mr 1LL's favourite! Ah well, the rest of the meal was lovely (and plenty leftover for us all to have tomorrow)
Post 3 things that you are grateful for
* I'm grateful for my sister getting the news she'd been hoping/waiting for
** I'm grateful for clubcard vouchers and the ability to treat ourselves a bit because of them
*** I am grateful for the free £5 gift voucher that was delivered through the door this morning
Work towards end of 2017 goal (weight loss)- I haven't done well with this all month really, head not in the right place. My gym buddy is back next week which will definitely help as we look forward to catching up with each other.
Organise some cheap (free if possible) things to do with family or friends - Ordered some days out tokens & eating out tokens using Tesc9 vouchersSticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Ok im not officially in till next month but I have 3 small goals which i want to achieve.
1.to pay for a 12 week count down at my slimming world club(Costs me £46.50 , and I have till feb 25th to raise the money)using other methods than normal to raise it, you get 2 weeks for free doing this plus a free hard backed recipe book,. Love to go to this and meet my friends,so I look on it as my social day out and look forward to it,(Plus I need to loose weight for my health )
2. to pay for a 12 times swim pass .still got about 8 swims left on my card, but want to be able to renew it when ive used them all, as it saves a lot of money.got to find exact cost but its £20 something
3. to have money to renew my3 year rail discount card ,when its due in July.
so im going to be busy trying to think of ways to earn/save this money with stuff other than what I already do,
Had a BOGOF meal voucher that me and my friend used yesterday,so that gave me£4.50 to start my pot off.wish me luck0
