Apple I may be being very thick but are you working in London now? Have you always and some how I missed this in my own ramblings about the place??

Yep, I am, bob. Always said I'd never, ever, EVER live inside the M25, but I met my dh, and here I am! I'm in the southernmost bit, where greater London meets surrey meets kent. A bit of a black hole really! But we are in a lovely suburb of it.

I think that's what threw me, as you never sound like you are urban in your exploits, so I assumed home counties. Anyway! I shall put my nose back away now :rotfl:

    Hi All,

    Today I am grateful for:
    I) My PT Cancelling! Was to be our last session before he went on his travels but he was ill... I now have £25 REFUNDED to my spends! Just when I was down to my last couple of quid too!
ii) Another lovely sunny day for my walk
iii) The people who developed Headspace. It helps me a lot.

A spend day here as bought some milk and yellow stickered bread, and paid off some other things with the unexpected £25.

Having a lovely day balancing the books and been for my walk... Gave myself a telling off for letting my thoughts get the better of me and dwelling on things past ( I was in my head I think for 30 mins of the walk at least!). Going to have a peaceful afternoon. Roll on Friday and pay day!!!

    :)

  • A planned spend day for me as i've got footie tonight (£3.50). I took advantage of that and bought myself a nice coffee earlier (£3).

Tomorrow should be a NSD however I think I'll have to pay for car parking later in the evening as I have an event in Glasgow city centre.

NSD today - have only been out of the house for the to and fro school runs and will have to do the same for Beavers later.

All food from stores and have now also turned 2.7kg of strawberries from the freezer (picked from the garden in June) into 15 jars of jam :D Also used up 2 bags of jam sugar which had been hanging around since the Summer :) Now I need to bake scones on Friday for when OH comes home to try out the jam! ;):p

    Today I am grateful for:
    * my children telling me this morning that Friday is an inset day - I'd totally forgotten!:rotfl:
    * plentiful supplies of de-icer bought when it was reduced after last Winter :)
    * our new improved kerbside recycling - meaning my black bin waste is hardly anything now :T

NSD no 12. C has gone out with his friend so I've been in all day by myself and have got loads done around the house. Lots of little things and some serious cleaning. Why is it the more you do the more you see things that need done? I hate housework. However, pleased that everything is looking clean and tidy apart from my son's bedroom (least said about that the better!!).
    Today I'm grateful for
    A productive day
C spending time enjoying himself with a friend
Some lovely home made soup for lunch
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.
