Had quite a spendy weekend but all budgeted for/needed. I had the weekend off but did a short shift for 2nd job for a bit of extra cash.

Today I'm grateful for a NSD, yummy leftovers for tea and an awkward meeting at work going better than expected.

greent . one day when in Tesco . there was already a big cabbage leaf left in the trolley from the previous shopper . after paying for our shopping , I gave the leaf to my DD for her guinea pig . now I always look in the fruit and veg bit , to see if any discarded leaf ( That they would chuck away ) and drop it in the trolley for the guinea pig . I envy you getting the stamps from RM , ive been with them for many years ( My ID number is only 4 digits) , and the normal 6 month rotation break , has lasted for many months this time . I asked if and when id be back in , and they said as soon as a space is available again in my area?
Ive missed the stamps as my hobby is pen palling , , Meanwhile though im still doing the correctly delivered , Managed last year to get enough £5 vouchers to give everyone I wanted to a voucher for Christmas so I was happy with that

Just a thought , I have a lot of NSD days. but its because im lucky and have people to share out stuff, My dad and DD lives within walking distance , My DS 2 miles away , One of us for instance will buy a sack of potatoes ( Just over £2 at farm foods) and if any of us needs spuds for a meal we send them , same with meat , packs of toilet rolls etc etc and any left over "Anything" we ask each other if any can use it , ( We lost Mum unfortunately last April , and Dad is learning to bake bless him . so we are all getting lots of cake and bread at the moment ) I just wondered if anyone who is trying to budget , could buy in bulk like this with a friend or relative . as I said , just a thought , I know it helps me to save

Today I am grateful for a beautiful sunset, for a good lesson with my boisterous y9s, for my walking boots still serving me well, for dh cooking tea, for dd and her love of reading.

NSD today but having difficulty with the gratitude. DH's only set of car keys has gone missing. The cars at deaths door so we only need to get it through a few more weeks until DH has finished exams and has the time to look to buy a new one. We can't be without a car each at the moment because I'm in busy season at work.

Grrrrr. He may have to buy a more expensive car quickly if we can't find it.

NSD no. 13 for me today.

    Today I am grateful for:
    1) Money balancing in work. Always a relief when we get it right, it's such a faff to correct and hunt a missing payment.
    2) My gloves this morning. It was very cold on the drive into work. The inside of my windscreen was iced up, I had to use the scraper inside!
    3) A phonecall to my mum. Haven't spoken to her in a bit, so it was nice to catch up. Although I did get a bit of bad news about my step-dad.

Had quite a good day today. Walked to health centre to drop off my repeat prescription and then through the park to the shops. Was really cold but the exercise was good for me. Had two healthy salads. Smoked salmon for lunch and chicken for dinner to use up some of the leftovers from yesterday. Not really salad weather but they were delicious. Did the housework and made chicken stock. Living room radiator isn't working so will have to get engineer outto lok at it tomorrow.
    Today I'm grateful for
Lots of cups of lovely tea
Keeping on top of the housework
Doing a few extra things that needed doing
Hugs to everyone who needs them. Hope things improve for you.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

The power of MSE is wonderful. I asked one of our resident pagans to intervene. Despite approx 2 hrs of searching at various points during the day, I've just found them. In a place that had already been searched!

    So gratitude:

    1) Finding keys:j The stress relief is amazing
    2) Finding a cheap fridge for my friend at the Salvation Army shop so she can now keep food in her new flat.
    3) A glorious sunny day (most of it!)
