Sorry didn't post last couple of days bit down in the dumps.

Friday spent treated myself to nice clingy jumper- not usually me but love it.

Saturday did a food shop in Sainsbobs had £6 off £60 Spend and wanted new electric toothbrush which they had at half price. My old one had metal exposed and made toothpaste grey. Will have to look at my budgets as overspent a wee bit oops.

I was invited lunch today by a so called friend but she was particularly off with me in the week, she can be like that- so take it uninvited. Prefer not to go and happier keeping my distance from her. She seems to get jealous if I go out for a drink or walk somewhere nice. Really haven't got time for people like that.

Not sure whether to spend today, I decided I need my own drill. Looked at them yesterday. Never done drilling but fed up of waiting on mates to do little jobs. One of my doors needs re-hanging frame is soft pine, so going to re fill bit under top hinge today with wood filler, leave it day and redrill. Got a wedge to lift door up in the meantime- what can go wrong;-)

    Grateful
    Full food cupboards
    Warm house
    Fun films.

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning All

It was the coldest night I remember in ages last night. We actually put the heating back till we went to bed. Unheard of.

Have to get myself together shortly as have a party to prep for today.

Having had a hideous week financially (as in beyond broke)things have just started to turn around. So no need to use the credit card to see us through or to borrow from what we have managed to overpay this month which in total is £203 since last statement date. I'm only counting £165 of that in my PAYDX score because the first £30 was done before Christmas but still within the current payday cycle for us.

Should bag another hour of cycling today, which is good for my health and pocket.

Have a great day all, happy birthday by the way Mothernerd

P.S Greent what a wonderful cause to be involved with. Very rewarding I'd imagine. And a much needed facility.

  • Happy birthday, Mothernerd and good luck with the mortgage, Raphael.
C took me for lunch yesterday which was very nice but I was so tired I went to bed early and let him and my son to make their own dinner. Feel quite guilty now. Just got up and still feeling tired. Have to go get a chicken for dinner,. Hope the fresh air will blow the cobwebs away and I'll brighten up later.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

calling I'm the same regarding the drill situation. I'm always waiting for someone to come help me as I don't have my own and I'm worried I'll make a mess of all the jobs. Let me know how it goes.

Should be a SFD today. I'm currently doing school work and then house work and dog walking before Sunday dinner at my sister's :)

    Yesterday I was grateful for:-

    - my mum's company
    - my health (a neighbour died overnight on Friday :( )
    - my loveable pets

  • Hi all
Calling and Moll thanks for Aldi recommendation. Heard that before but seems too good to be true?!
Lazy day so far. About to do marking, planning and prep for week. Have lesson observation on Fri so need to plan for that. Busy week this week. Two late school nights. Tuesday til 9pm and Weds til 6pm but on a course an hour away. Then Slimming world meeting so won't get home til 9pm. Thursday 6pm then hair appointment. May have to rearrange that! Still got loads of exam marking to do before Friday deadline. Feeling a little panicked to be honest!!!
Feeling guilty as not done anything exciting for kids this weekend.
On NSD #10/15. Should manage at least two this week.
Hope you feel better Toni's friend

  • Hi everyone

Yesterday ended up being a NSD so I'm now at 10/15. Today isn't as I've ordered something off the internet and even though it hasn't technically come out of my account yet I'm counting the spend today.

Hoping for at least 4 NSD this week which I hope will be doable.

I'm hoping this cold will hurry up and go away! Feel rotten at the moment.

    1) I'm grateful for my bath - as I plan to have a nice long soak later.
    2) I'm grateful for cupboard stocked with paracetamol
    3) I'm grateful for the week I have had off work.
