Spent £4 on payg Zumba today and nothing else. Doing quite well at eating out of the freezer
Have added more to CS pile (and also a couple of items for Ziff1t and NNS)
Booked afternoon tea for Fri - voucher for it was a Xmas present so will only cost the (minimal amount of) fuel to get thereJust hope the weather holds off (we are not expected to get much here anyway, I believe) Have booked it for 1pm so it shall be lunch - and I expect I will only need a snack for dinner as afternoon tea there is huge
Today I am thankful for:
* my Zumba teacher - I haven't been for a month so wasn't looking forward to it - but she is great and I really enjoyed it and was glad I went
* cancellations - wm engineer is now coming out tomorrow morning - yeay!!:j:j
* freebies from my mum - she has given me some unwanted (and lovely) suitcases which she doesn't need - we are short on them so that's greatI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -
Evening all :coffee:
Just a quick check in from me tonight as I'm on my way out to take ds to football (not that I fancy it). Another busy day at work, making me feel like I'm working my socks off and getting nowhere. And I had to stop off on the way home and get some milk so I didn't get a nsd today either.
Today I'm grateful for:
getting another set of books marked
some useful training at work (mental health based)
a nice warm house when it's miserable outsideNot giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Duncan the puppy is adorable and not helping my resolve not to get another dog this year!
House was too quiet and needed purpose
Another NSD today, thankfully as BF was told in work today he's going from weekly pay to monthly. We have until April to make sure he's got enough built up to tide him over from last week in March to end of April.
I have savings we can dip into in the meantime if needed, but we want to try and do it without borrowing.
25 NSDs - 05/25
Things I am grateful for today:
1) SavingsNice to have an emergency buffer.
2) First day back at work after my holiday. There hasn't been too much chaos in my absence (my relief is rubbish. Shes an old friend of the boss so mistakes get brushed under the carpet, she was told off today which I took smug pleasure from).
3) Knuckle bones that keep the pup busy instead of walking all over laptop.

Quick check in
I'll be glad when today is over! I have lost my clock in card for work somewhere between the car and the 20 minute walk to work. Thought it might be still at home (pronged off lanyard) but it's not here so it's probably down a grate somewhere. Tried to retrace my steps on the way home but couldnt see it.
Hopefully I won't get in too much trouble!!! We'll see. It's done now so they'll have to get over it and get me a new one!
Didnt manage a NSD today - hopefully will tomorrow/Thursday
1) I'm grateful that Tom is cooking dinner tonight
2) That the living room is tidy so I don't have to face a messy living space after a long day at work
3) My friends organising my joint birthday meal for SaturdayFebruary Grocery Budget: £190.75/£350.00

I don't know why we need something so high-tech in a taxi office but that's besides the point.
This thing is rubbish, constantly running out of sync so peoples wages are always wrong. I don't know why they didn't jsut keep the old time sheets.
Most people in work this week weren't paid the extra xmas bonus, or too few hours, or too many hours!! I got off lucky with just one hour paid at the wrong bracket, in my favour to the tune of 35p

Needed milk so picked up the other Aldi items on the list. But no extra spending and well within budget so far.
Today I am grateful for:
1) Late night hug and chat with DH. Talked out my depression fears and came up with a plan.
2) Gym this morning. Started off the day well and immediately felt more upbeat.
3) A full freezer and a flexible plan. DH now not expected until very late so I defrosted some spicy chicken and used up some veg. Rissotto postponed until Friday probably. Apart from the rice it's all in the freezer so no problem.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -

Quick check in tonight.
My food budget is under pressure with DH new diet plan from the gym and I have paid for my annual Tesco delivery pass which I forgot to budget for. I am going to try Lidl on the way home on Friday as the one near us is due to reopen end of this month and I would like to see what they have.
I have swam for 40 minutes today but have not stuck to my eating plan. I have found that if I don't have an on plan breakfast (even when it is a healthy one) it puts me on the wrong foot and I tend not to eat right all day and don't drink enough water.
Still no booze drunk since New Year's Day. DH and I are sponsoring ourselves for dry January and will make a donation at the end of the month. I also have some raffle prizes I can contribute to DS rugby club fund raiser.
Not a NSD today as I needed some eye drops as my eyes have been red and itchy the last 2 days. I wonder if its from swimming.
Today I am grateful for:
1) My Sat nav taking the fear out of driving in London for this northerner. After all roads, roundabouts and traffic lights are the same everywhere:o
2) The early night I am going to have
3) DH really enjoying his new role after the stress and unhappiness the previous one caused himSave £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%

Hi Dancingwiththedevil, just noticed your post. The more the merrier
Ended up working an hour and half later than expected today so decided to get pizza for tea instead of going home and cooking. Got a supermarket one though so not too much of a dent in the budget. Also got a few bits that I had planned to buy and a couple of YS bits for the freezer.
Today I am grateful for YS bargains, lovely weather (for this time of year) and a relaxing evening with OH.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
