Maybe their wives put them up to it.0

Are you serious?
No, I don't have more up to date information. Nor would I expect to. Whistleblowers pretty much never come forward, those reports are a one-off. Sorry, no more citations, this isn't Wikipedia.
I'm sure that since that report Global Personals have sacked the 30 rogue operators and that there are absolutely no fake profiles at all (and my solicitors are in agreement with me on this). If you want to join one of their dating sites despite being fully aware of their history, have at it.0 -

Why anyone who is looking for a serious relationship would use Tinder is beyond me, swiping left or right based on a picture is guaranteed to find one a partner, not :rotfl:0 -

I disagree. I've met some really nice, normal guys on there. The initial connection is based on pictures but a few messages and it's easy to work out if there's any potential there and worth meeting.0 -

Two of my best dates came off Tinder.
Admittedly things didn't progress much further with either, but it has its place if you're hoping for something long term.0 -
Tinder does work on the same principle of the pre-digital dating age in that if you meet someone in an "analogue" environment like a bar or club then until you have spoken to them all you have got to go on is what they look like.
You would not "chat up" someone that you did not at least like the look of so in that respect tinder mimics real life.0 -

Exactly that's why would never work for me , I got hit with the ugly stick , anyone who swiped and got me would have nightmares:eek: Seriously though I think many who use tinder looking for quick hook ups , I'm sure it works for some.
I think I will wait for a time machine to be invented and go back to the 1950's , life much more simple then.0
