Seems that Three have a new type of SIM offer
https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/three-90-day-unlimited-data-4g-sim-3378095
This is something like £17 month and appears to be a simple no commitments 3 month unlimited data sim.
Ideal for a Summer in a caravan/motor home or when moving house. Or to test if 4G home broadband is for you when you want to leave another provider.0 -
I've just signed up to the Vodaphone sim deal through Fonehouse for £13.34 after the cash back deal but have been charged £2.50 from KTN online which is in essence Fonehouse. Is this correct as I did not see any charges when I was directed to their website. In fact, there should not have been any costs.0

I think thats the authorisation debit they charge that I believe gets refunded.0

In which case it should be in the t&c, which they probably didn't check.0

It's not even hidden away. In the middle of page 1 of the terms. All credit/debit cards used for payments and orders processed on this website, will be verified using Barclays card processing services. Where a handset is advertised as free, a charge of £2.50 will be applied to your card and then refunded for on line security verification – This is to verify you are the registered card holder, living at the address you have submitted on the application, and that the card is not stolen

Three 12GB/unlim mins/unlim text for £10 / month on a 12 month deal
With £57.50 cashback from topcashback.co.uk
£10 x 12 less £57.50 = £5.21 / month for 12 months
Other options with topcashback.co.uk depending what you want.
Smarty are doing 30GB/month for £10 but three cover USA on roaming where I travel to often. And they have the "gobinge" thing that doesn't use up your allowance if you use things like netflix etc if that applies to anything you do.0 -
Thanks for the info Mobilejunkie :T
I have to admit that I did not check Fonehouse T&C and failed to see the £2.50 charges.0 -

Doing cashback deals - especially with this dealer can be traumatic at best and risky at worse if you don't follow the groundrules. Since you haven't spotted the t&c before I suspect you also failed to print out at the point of sale the cashback t&c and the offer you accepted. It's therefore quite likely you'll be back in a few months when you have problems or wait forever to get your first claim.
I would recommend you take a look at this:-

I just clicked to check out the offer on the site for ChatChit. Although it's advertised on MSE for £11.50, when I clicked through it was only £8.40.
I've ordered one for me and my daughter so will update this post once (if) recieved.
Received the SIM cards quickly and was very straightforward to get started. My daughter had some issues at first with her iPhone, but this was very quickly resolved following a message to their customer support team who guided her through updating her settings.
(Was only charged £8.40 each rather than £11.50 on the MSE page)0 -

How is the internet speed? how much data? do you have an link as I can't see it on the sim only page.
Edit, I found it. 10GB. It's that price for 3 months then £10 per month. Does anyone know is there is much difference between Plusnet and Chatchit mobile? Plusnet is available for £10 per month as well and they both use the EE network, so imagine they are about the same. Does one have better customer service than the other if that's the case?
There's also Virgin Media who called me with offers months ago when I was in contract with somebody else. Now that my contract is coming to an end do you think it's worth calling them to see if they have anything to offer now, although I doubt they will as it sounded like a certain sales person was calling me when they had an offer on a while ago, as I spoke to the person a few times as I said I would check if a family member wanted the deal as I thought it was good but I can't remember the offer now.
2nd edit. That's weird nobody other than the person I quoted seems to have posted about Chatchit on MSE and there's not much info about them on other forums, I take it that they must be relatively new?0
