Mooloo – What a kind and thoughtful person, you are. Things are very difficult for young people these days. Hopefully this is a temporary situation and will improve for them soon. It must be a great comfort for your son to have a mother such as you.
Weather here was awful today. Rained heavilly all during the night and lasted till late afternoon so didn't leave the house. Upside is another NSD today. Two this week, eight this month.
Cooked dinner for tonight and tomorrow from store cupboard/freezer ingredients. Babysitting the boy next door whilst his parents are at work and he's given me an apple crumble that he made in home economics (looks very nice). Great that the've introduced that back into schools for both boys and girls.
Still feeling really tired but I've got an appointment with practice nurse for asthma check and flu jab next week so maybe she'll be able to suggest something, Don't really want to bother the doctor.
Have a nice evening.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Thankyou for all the kind words. I try to do my best.
I didn't manage a NSD today as School sprung a disco on us tonight so £3 for the ticket and £3.50 for the drink and hotdog. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Evening all
Mooloo - what a lovely woman you are.
Mothernerd -hope you're feeling better
Thrifty - well done on the no smoking.
I've had a couple of spendy days this week. I'm really tired, and work is a bit unpleasant at the moment - I stop preparing food and then just go out and buy ready made stuff. Naughty me - but now I've written it down then that should stop me.Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Evening all - off out in a mo but racked up another NSD here. V tired - too much work on coupled with heaps from other things I'm involved with. Car tyre now fixed (so cheaper) and back on the car - it will get put on the next service bill I expect.
One of our chooks has died - went to collect the eggs earlier and found it lying on its side but still alive - brought it up to the house and tried to warm it up a bit - left it on a towel in the cat carrier when I went to do the school run followed by the beaver run. Got a text from hubby saying why is there a dead chicken in the cat carrier in the house? It was a fair question
Anyway off I go - its tipping it down out there and blowing a hooley!
Love to all, LAGL xx
PS Thrifty - really love that you are quitting smoking, its the best thing you can do for yourself, your family and your pocket! My Dad has smoked all his life and now has COPD - Mum and I were talking earlier - he is heading for a nebulizer beside the bed at this rate we think. Wish so much he had managed to quit when he was younger - it would have made such a difference to his life now. I know not all smokers end up like this but keep going - it will be so worth itDebt free on the 28/05/130 -
Mooloo - brilliant stuff
Thrifty - one day at a time!
NSD here and Zumba class, so exercise also achievedlunch was jkt pot and coleslaw (lacking inspiration and was over hungry) and I wasn't hungry for dinner so I just grabbed a cheese and tomato toastie
(Ive had my toasted sandwich maker more than 25 years - it probably only gets used a few times a year, but I'd miss it if I got rid of it!

Reporting in 2 more NSD's taking me to 13 for the month so far - this military sure is working!!
Also reporting that I have no more noodles in the house!! Woohoo!! Bob - I am loving the sound of pimp my noodles!! Last nights tea was the same as Tuesday night only with less veg in the stir fry as I am running low!!
Think I might need to spend tomorrow - I am craving chocolate and DD has now decided she needs some crayons to melt for some school project. We have none in the house so I will buy some cheap ones.
Everyone is doing fab this month!!0 -
A spendy day today! Two Xmas pressies bought for my sis in Marks as they sent me a 20% voucher. I also spent £4 on two slices of cake for me and boss in the charity cake sale we had today in work.

Thanks for all the encouragement. Day 6 done. It was tough not to think about it. Seems silly, especially since I was already down to two a day. But luckily OH was out and there was no tabacco in the house. My new addiction is pinterest
. Saved some more ideas for christmas crafting. Just need to find more time. Tonight I cut some fabric for family christmas stockings and made some mini bobble hat tree decorations.

Hi all, I've been trudging away quietly since joining. Payday was 15th for me so all the money shuffling has been done,
3 NSD's this week which I'm pretty pleased with, yesterday a small spend at supermarket for ys baking spud, cake for dad & small pot of coleslaw.
Had all day meetings with supplier and they didn't provide lunch unusually so they took me to sainsburys and bought sarnies....I was told to get anything I liked including crisps/cakes etc so nabbed some popcorns (great for lunch box if no time in morning) and some Christmas choc to eat 'later' - chocs now in Christmas box
Managed to avoid any drinks from drive thru mcd's & Starbucks on way back by taking refilled water bottle. Small things but they'll all add up I hope.
Can't sleep tonight (let kitty out then back in again) sohave updated my accounts app to ensure funds for all my pots (my bills e.g. Car insurance, joint house bills, credit card -on 0% but ends in April/may- and savings).
I've tried to build in additional spends where appropriate however usually my plans get amended. This year I want to work out my spends on entertainment a bit better so can budget better for that.
Thriftlass sounds like you're doing great on the non smoking! Well done and keep at itFirst home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

Well done on not smoking thrifty
Yesterday was a SFD, working ridiculous hours certainly helps this! Today will be spendy as I'm interviewing and so will buy cake for the informal chat section of the day. To make sure I stick to military this means I'll need to do my food shopping tonight too so will attempt to leave work earlish and go home via the supermarket.
Have a lovely day everyoneLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)
