Yes Dizzy in the kitchen. Just to help out with the household bills while my new gig builds up. Hard work but I wanted something where they would have flexibility in the rota and not see me as the main event.

It went well. Although it was very busy. I ended up staying 3 hours which they paid me for which was a nice surprise. The manager said he is going to get in touch with some hours for next week.

That sounds positive :) Well done :)

Spendy day as bought cake to cheer my parents up a bit. I also earnt £30 and paid it straight off the debt :)

Need to try and get some sleep but too excited to see the GCSE results tomorrow!

  • I failed yesterday.

My car was making noises that it shouldn't and I checked the oil and the dipstick showed I had none! So I went to Halfords and bought some and while I was out I filled up in petrol and got my car washed. Later at night I went to Tesco and bought some things too.

Yesterdays spending meant I should now go a few days without spending. Today and tomorrow for sure.
  • And just noticed that if I get my NSD's today and tomorrow that means I'll have met my target for the month with 6 days remaining.

I'm going to really push myself to get a new benchmark to aim for next month.

Bob - hope you get some good shifts and well done on the ebay sale.

I've had an ebay sale too £6 less the fees for some of DD's clothes. I have several lots listed so fingers crossed.

Kids have a check up at dentist today then home for lunch, not sure what we are doing this afternoon but will be outside in the sunshine at least.

  • Reporting in a NSD for yesterday - both DH and I are on annual leave and Tues & Thurs have been allocated as home days so yesterday we completely emptied DH's shed - everything is on the back lawn and he is sorting as he goes and everything will have a home.
Usually you can't get from one side to the other as there is too much stuff on the floor - this is a huge shed - it started off as normal size shed but then when the summer house came down we added that to it to make one large shed.

Today won't be a NSD as I am school uniform shopping with DD this afternoon - wish me luck!
  • Good luck with the uniform shopping EE. I'm most relieved to report that mine is completely done as of yesterday, apart from some insoles for my dd's skinny feet.
Still struggling to collect nsd's although I am finally starting to feel rested in terms of my hols. It's only taken 5 weeks...

Sounds good Bob. I really enjoyed pub/kitchen work while I was at uni. It's so flexible.

How were the GCSE results Fmess?

Well done Specky. It's useful when u can do all ur spending in one day so that other days can b NSD.
