Sorry you didn't get your cooling swim bob bit well done on the refund
Today was payday and a heavily spendy day, although almost all essentials - dog food, cat food, my food for most of the month, petrol and then chips and a mcflurry from maccys. I was really impressed with the dog food, I order online from a local maker and distributed of a 'natural' dog food and ordered at breakfast time and it arrived by the time I got home at 3
I was also really fortunate as I went to asder knowing there was a gf company's promotions team there. They were handing out free tastersand money off vouchers
I mentioned how I loved their products so they gave me a couple of extra coupons on the way in and on the way out they gave me tonnes of coupons and some free packs of products that they were supposed to use for displays. I'll use the coupons over the next few months but I've saved £20+ :j

Fmess - yay to the coupons. Is the dog food made locally to you? I am going down the route of locally produced, ethical and sustainable products for as many things as I can now. We buy our dog food from a local feed store (just a one off independent place) and buy their own brand.
Bob - I hate swimming pool changing rooms so feel your pain.
Me and the kids are going for a day out in Harrogate today - We all love it there.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Morning all,
Yesterday was a low spend day however today, given my 14 hour shift, will be a NSD which means I have reached my target!!! Happy days. The weekend as usual will keep my on my toes and no doubt result in some spending, so I'll gather other NSD's at the start of next week.
I heard on the radio BHS stores close this weekend, so when I take my trip into Glasgow I might stop in to see if there are any bargains.
Fmess - Superb on the vouchers!! Very impressed. Hope you feel better soon.0 -
Thanks for the sympathy
fmess hope you heal well from your op
Dolly have a nice day out.
Speky good luck bargain hunting today.

Hello. Popping my head over the parapet. I've read back over this month and would like to join you for next month. I've been doing the grocery challenge with mixed results, but want to carry the principle into other areas. Lots of NSD's and better overall habits.
Do the 'challenges' change every month?Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -

Hi FurryBeastOz challenges do change each month but the underlying budgeting and collecting NSD's are still in the mix.

Great. Thanks. I'll look out for September. I have noticed that although my grocery spends are down this month, my 'personal' expenditure - I've hot chocolate/cake while out, has gone through the roof. And on my hips:eek: So a bad trade off.:rotfl:Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -

Thank you all for your get well wishes, I'm feeling fine and the wounds are just a little sore. Is it bad that I'm excited to take the bandages off tomorrow and see the scars for the first time?
dolly I'm not sure where it's manufactured but it's s local dog trainer who has come up with some recipes that avoid gluten etc and are not full of artificial flavours, colours etc. My dogs seem to love it and I've just gone for the cheapest version
Today is spendy, again. Forgot Philly off the shopping list for my free bagels and also got us chicken for sandwiches when I'm back to work. Bought a new hanging basket and a suit jacket so I'm all done one personal spending from the September budget (I know it isn't September but I run budgets 25th to 24th :rotfl: )LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)
