Fmess sincere condolences just catching up with your news. Nice to think she didn't pass away alone. Hugs x
Clippy - Congratulations on being debt free. How quiet and sneaky did you do that? Well done:T:T:T:T
Not a lot to report my end debts moving in the wrong direction - beginning to hate this month. Went to wedding over weekend, found I got really emotional, not like me. Just wished my sister was still around to see it. Nice touch bride's bouquet was being placed on her grave rather than being thrown into a free for all.
Double booked this weekend with 2 best friends for separate events and getting hassle off both. Will try to attend both events. Roll on September.:(and normality.
evkizzy - sorry to hear about your !!!!! cat. Hope he's on the road to recovery - sounds so nasty

Had a spend day on Saturday, had friends round for a buffet BBQ thing so had to get bits and pieces for that and also DD has 3 friends round today for a sleepover so got some snacky bits for them as well.
Sunday was a NSD taking me up to 11.
Today will be a spend day as they have requested pizza for tea, we have not had takeaway pizza for a few years now so I think I can push the boat out:rotfl:
Got the week off so will be planning the September challenge;)0 -

Morning all,
Another NSD yesterday, happy days. Well on track to beat my record of last month.
No plans to spend today either, so should hopefully get another0 -
Hi guys.
I am hoping not to spend today, I am waiting for the washing machine which is due this afternoon and plan to do some much needed cleaning and get the kids to clean their rooms.
Yesterday me and DD sorted out her school things, the pile for recycling was unbelievable, it pains me greatly to see all that waste, we salvaged anything that could be reused in some way (as scrap paper, folders, dividers etc).
We went to see the BFG at the cinema yesterday, it was enjoyable but like every film these days 1/2 hour too long imo. We got family prices of £5.49 each - not too bad, plus a kids deal of popcorn, drink and biscuits for £2.49 each - for cinema prices this is OK, the thing that gets me is the only parking is the multi storey which was built as part of the complex and cost us £3.40. Hey Ho, I only take them to see 2/3 films a year so I'll suck it up for them but it bugs me.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Thank you to everyone for the well wishes for my poorly furbaby. Minky is healing nicely. I've had to stay with him to monitor everything he eats, give him meds twice a day and make sure his bodily function are working well. (I've never been so happy to clean a litter tray as it meant no internal bleeding or organ damage).
He's going to hava a big scar over his eye (very much like Scar from The Lion King) so he'll look pretty badass when he's all better. He may need teeth out as he's still dribbling a bit and struggling with chewing but I'm just relieved that he's back to his old tubby, vocal, cuddle monster self. :j
Fmess Sorry for your loss. Emotions seem to be runnung high at the moment which can only mean she must have been wonderful to leave such a great impression on you. Xoxo
Clippy Whoop to getting yourself more financial freedom.
Dolly Your washing machine just reminded me that we're owed our installation and recycling fee refunded, as they couldn't install it (in May -oops!) and we ended up disposing of it ourselves for free via the council. I'm not sure but I think that'll be around £30-40 owed.
I've been away from the internet for a few days getting on with nursing Minky and on Saturday my SO and I went on a cleaning and organising rampage. We pulled our every item of clothing from every draw, gave the space a good clean and put back less items after creating sell, swap and charity shop piles. Unbelievably, it took us ALL DAY!!! But my SO discovered an old money box which he opened and swapped his silvers for my £1 coins and he let me keep the coppers (£3 kerrching!)..
Sunday started with good intentions (laundry and washing pots) but then my SO got cabin fever and dragged me to the shops for a wander and to replace all the old pants I threw away.
We did some food shopping and again I got some great offers by splitting the shop into 2 transaction. One with 10 items I knew were cheaper in Asda and a second load of majorly cheap items. I managed to get 2 bags of sugar, a 1.5L volvic orange water, a very expensive new branded jar of almond butter and 9 more schwartz seasoning jars for free using CB apps and GreenRedeeme coupons. The whole shop worked out at about £20 cheaper.
Yesterday I intensively cleaned our dining/music room and after pots of rearranging furniture it finally look like it's ready for..
Cocktails and Mocktails night.
I've planned a party for Saturday where every one has been delegated an item or 2 to bring so it will be very cheap indeed and a much needed blowout with friends/ an early birthday party for SO as we're away then.
I will get back into updating on here and reading up on everyone's progress soon enough. Just needed a little break. XEv Kizzy total S&S ISA: ~£12,225. savings £200
Loans 0 CCs: £244.47 just added. No CC interest

How did your trial shift go bob?
It went well. Although it was very busy. I ended up staying 3 hours which they paid me for which was a nice surprise. The manager said he is going to get in touch with some hours for next week." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D
