finding a break up really hard

Yes that will hurt, especially if it was your first serious relationship. There is no magic formula. If there was, we would all have applied it to our own lives and and made a fortune out of patenting the formula. I'm afraid it,s just one step at a time, a few steps backwards on the bad days, and then always forward again. You will get there. Think of it as the bad pain after an operation which is uncomfortable to live with but which is actually part of the healing process.
And also try remember that every day you spend grieving about it is a day of your life you won't be able to retrieve later so try to fill your time with some productive activities, even if at this point you can't always throw your heart and soul fully into them.0 -
thanks. I honestly think I'd have gotten over this so much more quickly if I didn't have to know that she was already in another mans arms. It's really hard to take. But I suppose time should help even though it hasn't got better for like 3 minths0

Best way to get someones attention.......remove yours.
Walk away. No texts, no calls, nothing.
If she contacts you, great. If she doesn't you move on with your life.
It was her idea to end things, it has to be her idea to get back together.
The more you chase her, the less of a man you become in her eyes.
If you try and win her back I promise you it won't work. If you walk away you might have a chance..But remember, DON'T INITIATE CONTACT0 -
too late, already did a drunken text like 5 weeks ago, saying that i love her and hope shes happy, even though she wants nothing to do with me. She responded the next day and said it wasnt tht she wanted nothing to do with me, but no contact is just easier.
I've now made sure the number is 100% gone and I'll never talk to her again unless on the 1/100000000 chance she initiates contact. But times past and she hasn't.
My mum still walks her dogs (i know a f*cked up situation), and she has asked about me recently, but it was probably more out of politeness than anything0 -

Yep, you've wrecked it. No going back.
Remember lads, after a break up the worst thing you can do is initiate contact. Just look at the OP. It doesn't work0 -
thanks for rubbing it in. But in reality it woudn't make a difference as she already started seeing someone else. Alcohol is the worst invention of man kind. The annoying part is I deleted her number, but when I was typing in the name of a person I wanted to text whilst I was !!!!ed, her name still came up. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't have text her.
It shouldn't be about games though at this stage really, or who contacts who. Woman just love playing games, I don't understand it0 -

With an attitude like that, don't expect to get into any serious relationship!0 -
well its just 2 days before she told me how much she loved me and dumped me the next 2 days. Hows that not a crazy game?0
-
im just a bit bitter. Both men and woman probably play games0

Wait a minute....Is your ex and mum friends now? It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0
