Nice. What they charge for signature and HD? Uhd0

The answer to that will depend on who you're asking.Grav15 said:Nice. What they charge for signature and HD? Uhd0 -
Had two emails about a week apart plus a text. Ended up with a better deal than offered via either method.MeteredOut said:
Was this a proactive offer from Sky, or did you go back to them during the notice period?brewerdave said:Got an offer yesterday ( ~2 weeks into notice period) that I accepted. Signature £19.50 ,full Sports HD £16 and UHD/HD £5 ,keeping Q Box.
Originally was £24.50 for Signature but knocked down by further £5 for 12 months ; all other prices for 24 months , altho there will be rises in April 26 and 27.
I'm happy with knocking £23 pm off the "best" offer when actually giving notice to cancel. I might have done better waiting for the TV to go off but I'm satisfied for the present.0 -
Yes - but the other bits will stay the same (plus rises) - Worked it out over the 24 months and it was still much better than my target of £50 pm so I was "happy"JSmithy45AD said:

I tried the SMS route today as I have been without Sky for 4 months and I have the same as you but with UHD and was paying £55 pm. Sky Q.Gavgooner said:Sky finished this morning so phoned up & got this dealsignature £22
sports £8Multiscreen £7.50
Cinema £10
Sports Hd £2
£49.50 a month
Went on my sky app after renewing & got Ulta hd & Netflix free for 4 months.
The chat with £78 which I declined and I was then asked what price so I said £50 or £54 with Netflix and the reply was his manager said £62 was the lowest plus £20 admin.
I turned them down and he asked about broadband but told him it's not in my name and he said it doesn't matter Sky can take over some one else's phone number. I said no.
As for Q multi box I needed 2 and he said they supply 1 and I would have to call to get/pay for another one.
He said Signature was £40.50 before discount.1 -
Our TV and BB deal is due to expire on 12th December so over the past couple of weeks I've done my usual trick of phoning Sky and haggling but haven't had much success this time around. We are currently paying £93 per month for our various BB and TV packages whereas Virgin are offering their similar M500 BB, Sports + others package for £66 a month. The offers from Sky have ranged from £87pm to £121pm, so this morning I bit the bullet and told them I want to cancel. I have been a Sky customer for 12 years now so am hoping they come back to me with a better offer, otherwise it looks like I am going to Virgin !!0

Best option in my opinion, Sky (and others) will thank you for being a loyal customer on every single call but ignore it when you're trying to get a better deal.janet_oggy said:Our TV and BB deal is due to expire on 12th December so over the past couple of weeks I've done my usual trick of phoning Sky and haggling but haven't had much success this time around. Yeah, have always managed to barter them down in the past but been struggling this time. I enquired about the Black Friday deal of 500MG BB, Sky TV, Netflix and Discovery+ at £35pm with a view to adding Sky Sports channels too but was told that this is for new customers only

Not surprised, but the admin fee of £10 which was going to be waived has actually been paid. Complaint submitted via their webform (obviously can't trust what they say on the phone and don't want to waste any more time).

Further update to my posts above.....as the broadband was due to cancel next week (and TV on Christmas Day) I called them back on their dedicated Return To Sky number on 0333 7594752 and spoke to yet another operative. This time they have agreed to keep me on the same package - 100MB broadband, Signature HD TV, Sports HD, Cinema HD, Ultra HD, SkyGo, plus Kids free for 3 months at....£80.50 per month on a 24 month contract !!!
I'm happy with that
