My Sky Q contract ended in October. After many calls and perseverance I negotiated early December a new Sky Q contract for two years for £43pm
    Signature £20
    Sports HD £10
    Cinema HD £8
    HD £4
    UHD £1

Pretty much exactly the same as I managed to get. I got the above plus Netflix Premium and Multiroom for £66, which seems to add up to the same - multiroom £5 and Netflix Premium £17.99. I'm sure I could have got them down a bit more but this was the third attempt - first two via chat and way higher - but just lost the will to be honest. My main gripe is although we agreed this price, it will go up in 4 months time which is a bit rubbish. At the end of the day, it's better than you can get as a new customer so how far do you push it?

    Hello,

We currently have Sky Stream, and our introductory offer has ended on Sky Ultimate TV.

The price has gone up to £45.50:
    Sky Ultimate £33.50
    Whole Home £8
    Ad Skipping £4

On the Sky website, I can recontract for 24 months, however this only brings the price down by £3 per month.

I see most of the retention deals being discussed on here are related to Sky Q, so I just wondered if anyone has had a recent success in obtaining a decent retention deal on Stream?

    Thanks

Just contact them and put in your cancel request and see if you get any offers you like from them.

If you haven't accepted any offers from Sky by the time you get disconnected call them up on or just after they switch off your TV service and you may get a better offer.

I don't have Stream but I would not of thought the haggling process is any different.
  • My service is due to end tonight. Does anyone know if all my recordings will still be accessible if I wait a few days to get a new deal? Thank you!

Best I’m being offered currently is £45.50 in total:

    Signature £24.50
    Sports complete £11
    Cinema £10

Yes they will if you keep the box you have.

If you send it back and recontract on Q then all recovered programs will be lost as you will get a 1tb box unless you pay extra for the 2tb box.

Assuming you mean your cancellation kicks in, as soon as my service ended, access to all recordings was no longer available. I could still view some free to air channels via the Sky Q box. Once I recontracted, the recordings became available again.

The recordings will still be there but of course won't be accessible until they've recontracted. If they re-contract on a reduced package then any recordings from an add-on that isn't taken up won't be accessible, neither will any UHD recordings if not taking UHD up again. Also worth considering that any scheduled recordings won't work whilst not subscribed.

Have Sky TV multi room and broadband (super fast) with anytime calls.

Currently paying £117. Called Sky in December and was offered £82 for the package. Declined and proceeded with a cancellation of the TV services,

Received a text from Sky to review my options so called today. Offer was £87. Confused as they now want to offer me less to keep my custom.

    What am I doing wrong?

Has your TV services actually been turned off yet?

If they have you may/should get a better deal.
