Not surprised, but the admin fee of £10 which was going to be waived has actually been paid. Complaint submitted via their webform (obviously can't trust what they say on the phone and don't want to waste any more time).

Did you record the call ?

If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

Yes, I was going to save that for the Ombudsman if needed. Sky claim to have added a credit on my next bill though (I've not checked yet), so hopefully wont need to go that far.

Re my recontract with Sky two weeks into cancellation period for Signature, Sports &HD/UHD - Future bills for December was showing ~ £75 - seemed approx. right when compared with what I was paying against a short period out of contract !
HOWEVER, just looked at next bill today for payment due on 14th Dec. - and it's now runs to 30 lines of debits and credits ! but the bottom line is ~ £36 - can't make any sense of it at all - I await the amount taken with interest!
  • I re contracted with Sky after letting it cancel completely. Called winback team two days later.

It’s fair to say I had to make a number of follow up calls and be passed around several people , my called had to be listened to, but 3 weeks later bills finally are accurate ! This is a sky q deal. It was painful, but

    i was able to get:-

    Signature £19.50
    ultimate tv pack £4.50
    Sky Sports Complete £8
    Sky Cinema £10
    Sky Sports HD £2
    Sky HD £0

    Total £44 per month

during the cancellation period the best I was offered was £58 for the above

Even better - I now get a warning that my next bill will be higher - please look at your bill due on 14th December -except that the ~£36 bill with 30 lines of debits and credits is STILL there
! I think the mismatch is due to the fact that my contract was due to end 5th December - I renewed on 17th November and the finish date is now 17th November 2027- so effectively I've "lost" 18 days of my previous discounted deal in exchange for the new ,better ,deal - God only knows what I will finally pay in a week's time !

I've had this multiple times with Sky over the many years we've been with them, best just to wait for the future bills to appear when things have settled. i've personally never found them to be incorrect.
  • Cautionary tale...

On 11th November 2025, after many years with sky, I decided to cancel the service due to continuous above inflationary price rises.

During the 30 day notice period I had a couple of conversations with sky chat at the link https://sky.com/reviewmyoptions

On one of those I was offered:

Sky Signature, Sky Sports Complete Including Sky Sports+ Pack in HD, Sky HD, Netflix Standard [2 screens without Adverts] for a total of £39.49 a month

I declined the offer as I didn't have sports and was unsure how much I'd use it.

On 12th December, day before cut-off I had a similar conversation with sky chat and was made a very similar offer with £0 admin fee. I decided to accept the offer and expected my services to continue as normal and was given a reference ID.

Despite agreeing to continue my services, come today I receive an email to confirm my sky services have been cut off. I therefore call sky win back on 0333 759 4554 to find out what is going on. Despite providing evidence of the offer to the sky win back customer service operator, I'm told that sky can't honour the offer to include sky sports and the best they can offer is

Sky Signature, Sky HD, Netflix Standard [2 screens without Adverts] for a total of £38.49 a month.

I reluctantly accepted this as my wife wanted to keep it, but I'm extremely frustrated. Not only has my service been cut off despite me accepting an offer to stay before being cut off, I then get told that the offer I've been made on two separate occasions can't actually be honoured.

I've raised a complaint through https://www.sky.com/help/forms/complaints and provided multiple screenshots of the conversations but no idea what will happen.

I think the offer was a mistake as at seems well low for what the price is.

As for netflix 2 screens is that mobile devices or multi screen or Sky stream?
Have you the screenshots to put up on here?

I wish Aftab had done this to me when I rejoined last week as that was the name of the person who I dealt with.

That does look like an pricing error to me.

Is is this for Q or Stream?
