Have Sky TV multi room and broadband (super fast) with anytime calls.

Currently paying £117. Called Sky in December and was offered £82 for the package. Declined and proceeded with a cancellation of the TV services,

Received a text from Sky to review my options so called today. Offer was £87. Confused as they now want to offer me less to keep my custom.

    What am I doing wrong?
Have you given notice to cancel your broadband, and are you ok for it to go off in order that you get the best deal?

My approach is to have broadband elsewhere and let TV fully cancel in order to get the best deal.

Have not given notice to cancel broadband as that can be transferred over to a new provider with a code. Do not really want my line cut etc. MeteredOut said:

No not yet, have 10 more days of TV left. Would rather not have TV shut off as it's used extensively by my elderly mother. Boohoo said:

Has your TV services actually been turned off yet?

If they have you may/should get a better deal.

Don't imagine that Sky will contact you - to try to retain you - they are unlikely to do so....
Unfortunately Sky is not the same Sky as a few years ago - they don't care about losing a few customers !

If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

Agreed - they didn't contact me at the end of last year. I had to wait for it to cancel, and then contacted them for a better deal than at any time before or during the cancellation period.

If i let the TV cancel, can i still contract with Sky using my old Sky+ boxes or will i be forced to go down the Sky Q route?

Not sure if you can I read somewhere recently that Sky have done away with the card pairing option for Sky + boxes.

If you want to recontract I would go the Sky Q option if available and not the Stream option.

    My opinion only.

What TV option are you on now?

Sky Q is no longer an option either for new customers at least. They might send a reconditioned Q box but then they may not.

Okay so called up Sky and although I was offered a cheaper package earlier today, they say they cannot honour it and have offered me a higher price. Seems like i'm stuck and will just have to accept the offer as I need to remain on the Sky+ product. I hate Sky and the non sensical games they play.
