Have renewed day after receiving the TV Services have Ended email

    Signature £25
    Multiroom £10
    Netflix Standard no Ads £10.99
    Sky Sports with HD £0
    Total = £45.99

    24 months.
Happy with that. Agent was super friendly and didn't take too long.

    Congrats.
You got Sky Sports with HD for £0? Is that a lesser option than Sky Sports Complete?

  • Services switched off this morning. Just called the win back team and was offered the below for my existing package.

    Sky Signature £22.00
    Sports hd: £18.00
    Multi room: £10.00
    Total: £50.00

I declined as it wasn't much better than than the £54.50 they offered in the cancellation period. After a bit more haggling I was offered the below which I've agreed to.

    Sky Signature £22.00
    Sports hd: £8.00
    Sky Cinema: £10.00
    Multi room: £8.00
    Total: £48.00

Still not great but I'm okay with it and the 2 monthly Vue tickets is a bonus. I also didn't want to move from Q to Stream which is where they're steering customers

Sky Sports with HD is not a package of channels but literally just the HD option? I think it's a legacy issue as HD used to be chargeable (£6?) for Sports separate from HD for Entertainment. They now include HD as standard as there is no SD option.

It suggests that they have Sports as well but maybe they've had it before so it just gets thrown in there?

This may well be a mistake as the poster above got the same offer for £50 and their sports HD was £18.

They did then add cinema and got the lot for £48.

If it's true then could be the lowest offer/deal I have seen for years.

I got all of that including Sky HD/UHD and Netflix with ads for £45.
  •  First post after reading a lot of this thread.

Cancelled sky after getting terrible deals to renew, after one week of being disconnected i managed the below and accepted:

    Sky Signature - £18
    Ultimate TV pack - £1
Boost to Netflix Premium - £13.49
    Sky Sports Complete - £8
    Sky Cinema - £7
    Sky Sports HD - £2

Thanks @Mister_Saxon + everyone else for the help!

I let my Sky TV cancel as suggested + the gamble paid off.

I only have Sky Signature + Sky Sports + was paying £36 a month.

I called a day after cancellation and was offered £58.  This was more than the pre-cancellation offers.  The lowest offer I got pre-cancellation was £51.50.

I called Day 3 or 4 after cancellation but used the number provided in the return box and managed to keep the same package for £38 (they added Sky Cinema for no extra cost) + £10 admin charge.

I probably could have haggled my way out of the admin charge but at this point I had spent a total of 3+ hours on the phone with them pre-cancellation (as I kept getting cut-off and would have to call back + hold  before getting put through to someone who would have to put me through to someone else...)...

And while on the "winback" call the agent said he had a technical issue so someone else would have to call me to finish off the process… so did not want to prolong the whole negotiation/winback palaver any longer than I had to... :)

    Glad your sorted.

How odd, the person I spoke to last month also had 'a technical issue' coincidental...
